I was curious if today and Oklahoma was just a sample size thing for Jewel Spear, but she has been negativ +/- in every single big game. All 3 SEC games, +FSU, +Iowa.
-6 against FSU
-8 against Iowa (10 point win, so the Vols were +18 while she was off the court)
-8 against Texas A&M (13 point win, so the Vols were +21 while she was off the court)
-10 against Oklahoma
-10 against LSU
At some point you just have to admit that, even with their 3s, if they're consistently net negativ to our scoring, then there are some serious issues in their game that you can't just ignore because they hit a lot of 3s.
I think people are just frustrated and venting. It’s sad that our Lady Vols program has fallen off a cliff and been irrelevant for what, 10 years? You think that makes sense?
And this is a GREAT example of why not to trust the +/-I was curious if today and Oklahoma was just a sample size thing for Jewel Spear, but she has been negativ +/- in every single big game. All 3 SEC games, +FSU, +Iowa.

She can’t play D
It makes a big difference in the net rankings etc... that the NCAA uses to seed teams.
It really sucks we couldn't pull off the win, but if we get the normal officiating that any other team in the country would get in its own gym then we win. The officiating wasn't bad overall, but it was the typical BS where LSU got a call that was wrong whenever they needed one to keep the lead.
It doesn't matter how good UT gets, we will never get those calls.
Either way, we will win these games when we start playing four quarters. Recruits can see how they would be the ones to make a difference in getting us over the hump so we have a lot to sell them.
Good point. As soon as the dribbler starts to approach the foul line area, you foul, then force another inbounds set with less time.Don’t understand-we had 2 fouls to give and could have caused them to regroup. LSU had no timeouts left.
All this should tell you is that Kim probably needs to adjust her lineupsI was curious if today and Oklahoma was just a sample size thing for Jewel Spear, but she has been negativ +/- in every single big game. All 3 SEC games, +FSU, +Iowa.

Yes, if they can’t beat them 2 at home, what good teams u think they will beat?
Coaching staff seems to be learning too. Gotta give the fouls there. Also didn't like Cooper coming out at the 2 minute mark in a one possession game with time outs left. What would jumper do?This is a very fair criticism. You can leave them as the one with .9 seconds to get off a shot.
That being said, I don't think we could play better defense on a possession than we did that one. Not sure I would roll the dice on doing it twice more w/o giving them an open look.
