Much better performance on offense so far. Quicker ball movement, some decent passing (for a change). Jones drove into the paint and pulled up for a shot: She missed, but that is a shot she should be taking. Massengale pushing pace--also good. Stanford is not letting Izzy shoot, so she is smartly getting rid of the ball quickly. We will need for Graves, Jones, Burdick and the guards to make 12-22 foot shots to be good on offense because teams will double Harrison.

Graves has been good (early), but Jones has been terrible. We need the both to be good--along with Massengale and Carter. Those four--key to the season, especially on offense. Jones has got to make shots.

Jones is just awful would will only start and play lot`s of mins for Tenn.

We have moved the ball crisply, and that is given us open looks--and that's all you can ask for on offense. Then you have to make the shots. I think Burdick helps us more on offense than Jones because she's a more reliable shooter, and she rebounds well, but she's not as good defensively.

You do wonder how stanford beat Ct. It's not a vintage Stanford team, though our size bothers everybody.

We all complain about Burdick doing things she shouldn't. If she'd just stick to the things she does well she'd be a great player.

Probably a lot to do with UCONN flying out there the day before. Difficult to get acclimated in one day plus in Stanford's gym.

L'Orange had an unreal game against UCONN. Let's see how the second half goes.

One thing you have to hand to Holly is she has them playing much better D the last couple of weeks.

On that Nared shot Pat would have lit her up for that. You can't give them another possession. Holly says nothing just lets a mistake like that ride. You have to play smart.

This same full-court d - lesser teams have cut through it like butter. This is why Holly (and Pat before her) preaches "effort" so much.
Keep it up, LVs! Hope they find there 3 range next half.
