I can't believe so many fans think Holly is any where close to the top 10 coaches. We will get our brains beat out unless Holly and that staff get it together. Right now they are simply not coaching good basketball. Every team has a set starting lineup, except for fouls and rest, play most the game.

She's what, 55 or older? She's been coaching for 30 years. She's not learning anything at this stage. She's not a good head coach.

Do you guys realize Syracuse didn't have a point in the last 5 minutes of the game? Yes we have things to work on, but they found a way to win, not playing well. I for one am happy. BTW the officiating was horrible too.

I know I am opening myself up to criticism and could be accused of coming in the LV forum only to complain. But in the past I have loyally followed the LVBB program. I have attended many home games even though I no longer live in E. TN and I have attended SEC tourney games to cheer on the LVs.
Last year I did not watch a single LVBB game and past performances similar to tonight is the reason why. Tonight I thought I would give it another try, but once again nothing has changed. These ladies deserve better coaching.

Maybe this is like last year when they played those ugly first few games especially the texas game. Secondly, the team is searching for a new identity without izzy, Ariel, and cierra. They need more time to get a flow with each other. Lastly, we need to just shoot all day the next few practices

Some of Jones's turnover I put directly on the guards. She looks for the guards to come get the ball, but they don't come help her out or look to cut. They got her outside the three point line handling the basketball.

I wonder if Baylor fans are saying Mulkey isn't a good coach because Baylor only won by 3 points against South Florida (ranked 19th) last night . . . somehow I doubt it.

You people need to check your dumb, entitled asses right now.

I want the LVs to win every game. I hope CHW wins big at UT and proves me wrong. Call me negative if you want, but an abundance of talent is being wasted.

In all serious I'm curious what your wxpectations were for the performance of this team?

Does anything trouble you with the performances to date?

I'm probably one of those short bus people you are referring to and no I'm not suggesting she be fired or any of that nonsense. We're three games in. But a trend is a trend and despite the addition of three alleged top tier talent additions, one of whom we know her ability from one year at UNC, the same problems continue to persist year after year. Lack of ball security, inefficient and lackadaisical passing, poor offensive effiency and bad substitution/lineups. I expected improvement. Was I asking too much?

We just need someone to step up from the perimeter so we don't force so many passes inside way up there in turnovers tonight because no one could make an outside shot. Cooper finally made that big three but only 1 for 12 from the three and less than 10 percent from the perimeter. All our scoring was inside and we payed the price in turnovers to get those points.

I have little doubt that there's something wrong with DD and it's not just rust. Replay the game watching only Diamond and tell me what you think.

USF is a dang good team lead by Courtney Wiiliams. They gave UConn a run for their money last year.

Something wasn't right with her that's for sure. Hard to tell if she is pissed at the staff or was just down on herself for missing shots

I was attending LVs games and cheering them on long before anyone knew who Coach Pat Head was. I am not entitled.
BTW, Kim Mulkey has actually won something.

Well, I had really high hopes for the team this year but performances like tonight are just depressing. C'mon we can do a lot better. It appeared to me (and I'm no expert just a serious fan) that the Ladies have a real lack of teamwork and they were outhustled by Syracuse - really Syracuse?

Given the fact that several new players are learning to play together, with a number of them coming off of injuries, I expected some early struggles. They've played two tough teams in a row, and won both games.

This team is learning how to play together. They've faced two very solid competitors. They've won. If you are expecting them to utterly dominate very good teams this early in the game, then yes, I'd say you are asking too much at this point.

if Ivy wasn't screaming at the way Tn was playing tonight and the coaches were unable to get anything going then she is as clueless as she insists we were. The product on the floor for Tn is flawed and it is coaching that has made it that way. notice, she didn't show up till after the game? if they had lost she would have been a no show I'm sure. :(

The problem is the way holly wants to run offense. She preaches slowwwww and it takes away from athletes like diamond and cooper and carter making plays. We run one of the worst offensive sets ive ever seen at a high level.
