Snake bit team. So close but the same weaknesses continue to show up (ie: rebounding and very poor defensive rotation). Cooper is great but had a very bad game tonight. Too much hero ball from her.

Outrebounded 39-24... You want answers why we lost look no further. Stat sheet is almost totally even. This is a major problem it seems like. It's really that simple.

Defense is abysmal at times as well

Another heartbreaker for sure ! As I said earlier, they put themselves in positions to win and never quit ! I agree that they are due a big win sooner than not ! Keep fighting ladies !!

we play good offensively but still have so much to work on defense wise. i think we are improving. texas is a really good team. these close loses i think are worse than 10 point losses. a lot to improve on, but eventually we’re gonna win a big game. it’s coming.

This game is just another example of unwillingness to put an ass on somebody and box out. Spear, Darby & Spearman repeatedly allowed their rebounder to out work or maneuver around them for boards. Just are not going to beat good teams getting out rebounded night in and night out.

Yeah we’re going on a skid. Just the facts. We are not willing or able to play the defense required to win against quality teams.

Either this group gets together and makes a change or it’s barely making the tourney and an early exit.

Am I crazy or does Spearman just kinda mail it in sometimes, especially when she’s frustrated? There were a number of plays where she seemed to give about 50% effort. I’ll take a miss or some other miscue if you’re putting in effort, but she makes me wonder sometimes.

Really hope we do but I just don’t think they have the grit to play the defense necessary to best SC or UCONN.

SC is going to crush us on the glass. We MIGHT have a shot against UConn.

These last minute losses when you’re unable to close one out and get a win eventually get inside your head and can kill confidence. I hope it don’t happen because they play hard all game, but for the life of them can not rebound worth a crap

I never use to feel that way but the people on here changed my mind, just take the moral victories and go on to the next game. It’s better that way so u don’t have stress.

If we were in any other conference we might be undefeated you simply cant hide particularly this rebounding issue this has got to be address but HOW games agaInst good teams games are going to always look like this we are simply not good enough defensively to hide this.....if we even come close to them on the boards we blow these people out...it was the same thing wit morrow at lsu if we keep her off the boards we have a different convo bout that game......hopefully we can fix it for the morale of the team
