84 to 82 Uconn wins with a last second foul call by the cheating refs. book it...
I wouldn't say cheating, but Geno carries a lot of gravitas, and I feel the refs will be intimidated by him and the 50/50 calls will go UCONN'S way. 71-year-Old coach since the late 80s of UConn vs a 1st year Power 4 coach, refs are human. I expect it in games like this where you are coaching against a juggernaut and every BBall fan knows it and guess what all refs are rabid BBall fans. Thats why they do it staying on the court being a part of it. It is what it is, you just keep plugging until you get this nuanced upper hand.

I had a dream last night that the Lady Vols won by the score below, but not putting any money on this happening. Recalling from my dream, the game was a defensive battle on both ends, as the score eludes to.

Dream prediction: 63-55 TN

Honest prediction, I think will be higher scores, but going with TN still, one has to imagine they’re bound to win a game like this at some point.

Honest prediction: 74-70 TN

Thanks for sharing. I thought overall it was a pretty well balanced article.

Being a UConn fan, I obviously hope the Huskies win but whoever prevails, I hope it's a close game that goes to the wire without any controversial late referee calls giving one side or the other a reason to 'gritch'.

I remember when watching the recent Lady Vols vs Texas game thinking that Connecticut would struggle against either of the teams. I am glad we have returned to the BE because as poor as the league is in WBB, it is still a step up from the AAC. I think we'll be challenged to pivot from our current level of opposition to what you and South Carolina are going to present.

I have been impressed with Caldwell thus far and hope her tenure is long and positive for you. (But I must also admit that I was impressed with Harper her first year as well!)

LVs will win this game if they can hold UConn to 70 points or less AND T. Cooper scores 20 points or more. I am basing this opinion on data from the Vanderbilt, SC and Missouri games.

In the last 4 games, Sara has played for 56 minutes and scored a total of 5 points...She got a few rebounds, but damn guys, this is not acceptable at any level of basketball.

If this trend continues for her, I don't like our chances against UConn....

Come on Sara....Rise Above It!

For those of you wondering why I harp on our lack of working the refs,,,,Read that again!
