We had free tickets to the game, but my wife's 83-year-old brother passed away earlier this week. Funeral is at 7 pm tonight.

I'm making the trip for the game. Would like to stay downtown and walk to TBA/FCC. What hotels do you suggest? I've been to Knoxville a few times but wasn't sure which would be best. Thanks in advance.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown when we played South Carolina, it was within walking distance to me.

Listen to this b.s. KNOWING for a fact had Pat not cancelled the series, it'd still be going strong. Like NC and Duke on the men's side. Or, TN and KY. But more. And the acrimony was caused BY HIM!!! Dumbass.

Looks like I'll miss the game also. I'll be picking up my brother in law at the Charlotte airport. We have had a medical event today with wifey's and his mom. looks like another stroke. I've been thinking her time has run out for years now but she always fights it off. Hope she does it again.

Not sure what's going to happen in tonight's game. A non conference game, in the middle of a tough stretch of conference games. And with a huge game vs LSU, a few days away.
Will they be focused on this game, or distracted by all the hoopla ? Add in the fact that this game will have no impact on final conference standings, and I don't know what will happen.
My guess is probably another close game vs a top ten team.

Hopefully UT players come out loose and focused on the game plan. Speaking of which, whichever coach has done a better job scouting and setting up a better game plan will have the edge. Uconn will likely be ready for the press, CKC has to know this and have ready adjustments on defense. I mentioned a few days ago that UConn has been deploying a full court press of their own for a month or so now, prob in anticipation of games like this.

I will be disappointed if the LV’s are not within reach in the 4th, I expect them to win a close one at home in this matchup. CKC hopefully has prepared them properly for this huge game, I don’t think GA is going to be caught off guard strategy wise. Her game plan will need to be on target, I think it will be.
