What are they 10 for 10 from 3? I've yet to see them miss. We've got to get out of the zone and play good help defense.

She and Westbrook have done nothing. And Davis in particular has given up several 3-pointers.

Westbrook has been in foul trouble most of the 2nd half and it's for the better at this point.

Only saw the last half of the 4th quarter, but that was an impressive example of lock down defense.

The press ate them up that was the difference today when we were having a difficult shooting game and Walker was having a career day.

Another positive is the turnovers have cut down considerably... it was more about us turning over the ball rather than the other team making us turn the ball over. Her physicality we had 9 in the first half and I think ended up with 15 total so they ended up cutting their turnovers by a 3rd in the second half! While they never should have had that many this shows this team CAN cut down on the turnovers. However, sometime I wish they would just take the shot instead of forcing a pass because we have good rebounders (even Hayes is a good rebounder for her size)!

The Newby player for Vandy played a good game! We tried to get her but you can’t blame her for the Vandy education. 🤔

Terrific play by Hayes she really ran the team well without the bad turnovers. Green made some great plays i can see why Holly stuck with them over Davis and Westbrook.

Agree about rebounding but it is not all about size!!!! You have to make the effort. Same with defense. You need effort!

Good coaching by Holly today. Keeping Green and Hayes in the game. Davis looks like she might have hit the freshman wall. Maybe start Green at 4 and movie Jamie to 3.

She is pretty good for her size seems more like a 4 player but I think plays the 5 by necessity. To be honest she could have fouled out within the first half of this game but the refs swallowed the whistle when she kept shoving Russell in the back and also didn’t give her room to land. But to Russell’s credit she stayed composed and just went to work by keep burying her in the paint. She will probably be glad to play against a player with size because they don’t usually get all in your space/under you like a smaller defender.

They need to play like that last quarter with our upcoming schedule which is not going to be easy.

Win is a win no matter how ugly. MR had 33 points today...that's great from her.

15-0. Tough road ahead next several weeks. Hope we can hold on to what we got.

Positives: Russell, Green, and Hayes all played great. Nared's defensive intensity picked up considerably at the end of the game. Offensive rebounding kept us in the game, TBH.

Negatives: Pretty much everything else. Overall just low energy. Westbrook and Davis looked lost on both ends. Nared missed a ton of bunnies. Kept letting the same player beat us from 3.

I wonder if they’ve been looking ahead... which has resulted in a 2 lack luster wins..
