We lost it in the 3rd quarter. Not taking advantage of Kamilla sitting an entire quarter is mind boggling. I don’t know what kind of reasoning Kellie had going with Strip over Jill. You pull Jill but don’t pull Jewel who was struggling big time.

That’s what I was getting at. I will give her some due in that she pulled down 6 rebounds today and some of them were tough ones. Appreciated that effort.

She just isn’t up to this level of play, especially if she shot isn’t going down.

Darby fought hard and played some of the best defense of her career IMO, but really could've used her making at least one or two of those open 3s she got.

Defense overall was fine. To win players have to make shots and all of Spear, Darby. Puckett, and Powell didn't shoot well enough. Spear and Powell contributed but still shot low percentages. I just keep thinking how much better we'd be if we had a post presence like a Betts or Brink. That is when you get the shots you can make.

They played SC tough twice. Wouldn't mind getting another crack at them in the semis - IF we get the double bye.

Much, much better decision making from Powell. If we’d gotten this version of her in the LSU game, it would’ve been a tight finish and possibly a win.

The unfortunate thing today is Jewel’s shot selection was pretty bad in key moments. Guard play continues to plague this program in big games.

Not gonna lie the lady vols played with a lot of heart down the stretch. Their record would have been so much better if they played that way the entire season.

Not enough help on the glass either. We don’t have those players who just want to be a dog on the boards. You don’t have to be the tallest or jump the highest to rebound well. It just takes practice, timing and desire.

We need players like Puckett and Hollingshed to pull down 7-8 a game instead of the 3-5 we usually get.

Same case for Striplin, she got an opportunity today and she did do a nice job offensively. Zero rebounds though and gave up 8-10 points in the paint just being soft. If you know your minutes are limited anyway go ahead and use those fouls. In a physical game like this you might get away with one or two especially being the smaller them, which is unusual for us.

We need a Sarah Strong, A Betts. or a Brink then that would even the playing field.

It’s bad rebounding awareness as well like I said last week, they look so lost when the ball goes up and always out hustled to the loose ball.

Yes, we do not have that dominant interior two-way player we need. We also need some bigs who can run in transition. Our forwards are so slow, Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke is great, busts her butt down the floor. She can catch and finish through contact and has great hands.
