63-38.

That’s all they should need. Post it everywhere during preseason workouts. Everyone’s locker should have that in it. Every time you feel like you’re tired or you want to take a play or a drill off . Look at that damn score. Make sure that never happens again.

I will go out on a limb and venture that our fans’ attitudes have 0.0% effect on how the Vols play in a game.
Sorry dude, I do not agree. Fan support and attitude have great influence on morale. Morale among fans affect the players. And I promise you, morale has an unbelievable effect on outcome. Study some military history if you don't believe me.

They whooped our ass last year. Have every right to talk shat
Anybody can talk shat. Wise people test the times and realities that exist in real life..USCjr fans aren't wise. They could easily be gracious in their victory, knowing the trajectory and history of both programs. Like crack addicts, they choose the immediate gratification of their little once in a lifetime win over reality. They belong in the ACC fighting Georgia Tech for third place in their division

Doubt anyone really gives 2 squirts about a message board post from a faceless, nameless kid living in mom and dad's basement. Now you get a comment from someone who will actually be ON the field and it's a different story. You know...kinda like a guy saying he doesn't lose in Florida in reference to a game being played in the Swamp. Now that's something that's likely gonna grab some attention in a locker room. Even then it's pretty much a non issue once the hitting starts. After the game, I'm sure it will be revisited. During the game, it means absolutely nothing.

What a truly great post. Thanks for this one, brother.

Wish I could 'like' this again, bro. Living in SC, you can't imagine how much I want to see these a-holes cry over a game.

You are so right. Heard a player interview yesterday say exactly that, the players feed on the atmosphere. Also, these Gamecocks fans should, not be allowed to leave at halftime or third quarter, they should have to watch the entire butt whipping in its entirety.

I wasn’t speaking about the effect of fans at a game. The context was fans’ comments on this board as they impact or don’t impact players. If our players are letting posts on here, good or bad, influence their mental approach to a game, we’ve got issues.

I lived in Horry County during the Pruitt era. For a group that is pretty much a .500 all time program they run their mouth a lot. September 30th we just need to come out and hit them in the mouth. I’m sure Heupel and the team will say all the right things prior to the game, but I believe there’s a lot of animosity between these coaching staffs. There was a lot of cross the field talking going on by Beamer last season. Let’s see how that works for them this year.

Al Davis had this guy. Ben Davidson. Dang right QB's went down HARD.
One of my favorites growing up. We need a defensive guy like him. Another Reggie White would do in a pinch.

Give me Sistrunk from that defense. You know the guy who portrayed his alma mater as being the University of Mars. He certainly looked like it.

All Tennessee needs to do is execute on offense and confuse Rattler on defense.

If Tennessee gets on a roll offensively it won’t matter anyway.
Exactly. My biggest fear is that we go out and try to blow them out every play. We just need to show up and play our game.

They are too cocky. Beamer's second-year bounce was only one additional win, but they believe that he is the one.

College football is hard to predict because the lack of consistency...South Carolina could be a decent team this year. Or they could be 5-7.

I like for us to hit him early and often. Like we did against Pitt last year.

Tennessee plays its best when we are trying to blow people out on every single play. The natural and expected outcome on Tennessee playing it’s own game should be a blowout.
