As we know, just because you say something doesn't make it true. That's why Pearl is currently getting reamed.

I'm sorry, but for the past two years Parrish has written a ridiculous amount of articles about either Memphis or Calipari.

I've actually stopped reading his articles because of that reason. It's like Bill Simmons on ESPN. All he writes about is the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Homers will be homers.

I wouldn't bet against either of those things.

Especially basketball. Looking at Pearl's success making it to the Sweet 16, I wouldn't be impressed by a coach coming in and making it past the first round one time in six years let alone in his first year period. Pearl will be leaving far more talent than this program has ever had if he were fired.

I agree, but if Bruce didn't completely come clean, he will be gone before the start of the season.

The timing compares with Kiffin leaving. Who could you hire that is not on an interim basis even if you fired Pearl tomorrow?

Yep, the timing would be a disaster. We have two top recruits set to sign in November. If Bruce is gone, it stands to reason that they would, at the very least, delay their decision.

Allowed? Cameras are everywhere nowadays. You don't allways know when you're on camera or within range of some amateur photographer. Everyone and his brother has a camera or a camera-phone. Where is it written that the picture-taker asked Pearl's permission before snapping away?

You all are going delusional. Bruce Pearl is (a) not going to be fired, and (b) this isn't going to get worse. I'm telling you, Bruce made it sound worse than it really is.

You all have to understand, with as much as we like Pearl for his eccentric behavior, there are many who HATE him and are going to say/write things because they hate him and want the worse for him/UT.

Why do you all think this idiot has the insight to predict what's going to happen? I've read many of his articles before this, and most are garbage.

If we are texting guys extra and showing them the heated marble floor at Pearls house, it just shows how archaic and absurd the NCAA rulebook is that it is becoming a giant deal.

:whistling: I've been watching UT basketball since we had Widby, Borwinkle, and Justice. We have never had anything like we've had since Pearl came. If pearl goes the success he has had goes with him and we will be just another doormat for Kentucky, Florida, and Vandy to inflate their win columns with

Tennessee has traditionally been a doormat for Florida and Vanderbilt? I guess that's why they hold commanding leads in both of those all time series. You may have been watching for a long time, but it appears you were paying no damn attention.

I understand things happen and Bruce messed up. What I'm hot about is the fact he's always trying to portray himself to the media as the good guy and how he's building a program the "right" way. He will take shots at other programs for there findings and has even snitched people out. Now this happens making him look like an absolute hypocrite. What personality do you want Bruce? Good guy or bad? No middle.
