does anyone believe the fact that the Peal initiated the second visit with the NCAA to confess his "sin" will have any affect on their decision????? JUST a question??? ...

Not really, because they probably knew he was lying anyway. If they didn't already think the photo was taken at his house, why question him in the first place?

I had hopes in the begining that it would, but as more comes to light I am starting to have my doubts. I have been behind Pearl all the way, there is such manure coming from his backside I am walking a good distannce behind today.... ha ha :birgits_giggle:

it probably at least kept things from getting worse; i.e. USC coaches constantly denying the reggie bush stuff when they (and the univ) knew about it

We literally have one of the dumbest coaches in college basketball. We've all had people lie to us when we know they are lying straight to our face. When that happens, what's going through your mind? I'm sure the 'AA was thinking, "what a frickin idiot they have down in Knoxville." I'm so tired of his charade.

right b/c none of the other coaches have lied to the NCAA...in any sport recently

there's a big double standard in this sport you need to read about in the second espn blog article i posted

And dead on. I know that most of the people around here hate Gregg Doyel, but I think he is an outstanding columnist. He certainly isn't afraid to be brutally honest.

ASSuming that Pearl has bared all to Hamilbumpton and The Cheek, then they should have a pretty good idea what the AA is going to do. IOW, the situation has been assessed and they decided to keep him...albeit under super nonsecret probation.

This idiotic situation Pearl has put the program and himself under can be a positive thing. Pearl can't miss a beat, sneeze without catching the snot before it hits the floor. His W-L record, in and out of conference, his recruiting, his personal life, the cleanliness of his underpants, his appearances in public, everything he does is going to be under an electron microscope.

If he wasn't a Jew, you could say he would have to be Jesus Christ...without the attitude. :huh:

Work hard? Work harder. Think about going elsewhere, think again.

If they catch him with as much as a shoelace untied, he's the next HC at Murray State.

I'm telling ya', this could be a good thing. :hi:
