I personally haven't heard anything but if I do I will most certainly let you know. I think it basically split off 321 and spread out that way but I also know the spur was ablaze. If I find anything I will let you know.

Things are stable currently National Guard 1st shift is out and back again at 0630.

Things have slowed down tremendously though there are new fires off of Jayel Rd (Pigeon Forge close to rhe new Dream More resort) and Rumor is New Era Rd (Wear's Valley)

The current concern is the wind coming in before the rain. The rain isn't supposed to be here until early tomorrow morning.

Also back in late 1970s dad ordered the Dukes of Hazzard real air horn and put on the big 4 door buick sled. Our relatives would come in from TX and we would take them to Gatlinburg. Jerry (my uncle from TX) would tell dad to blow it and you could literally see the skeletons jump out of peoples bodies and it echoing back and forth off the buildings. Some of the most fun Gatlinburg times I can remember.

Ogles Waterpark, Xanadu wow had forgotten about that place. First video game I ever played was at the Greystone lodge in about 1978, space invaders. That place had a great pool. I always had a great time in Gatlinburg.

Heard from friends whose family is part-owner that the Lodge at Buckberry Creek is completely lost.

Its starting to rain pretty hard here in North Knox county now. Quite a bit of thunder and lightning. I think it is arriving sooner than expected.

Dude those comments are very interesting. Like, they spelled all that stuff wrong on purpose and whoever special agent pressure cooker is knows what that person is talking about. If that hillbilly just made all that stuff up, they need to go to Hollywood.

Oh man, I remember that concrete water slide; that thing could be painful.

This is so heartbreaking. So many great memories of Gatlinburg, many family vacations from the time I was a baby through my college days.

My heart goes out to all of those affected by this disaster.
