Despite rumors, @Dollywood confirms NO DAMAGE from fires. They've evacuated cabin/hotel guests & crews are on scene to protect structures

I haven seen this news confirmed, but I saw a report that said it is estimated about 47 people stuck in the park vista hotel. It said the front of the building was on fire so they were moved to the back..... I seriously hope they get out my thought and prayers are with everyone in gatlinburg

I've seen both arson and possibly trees falling on power lines and the downed lines causing fires.

Heard the Mountain Lodge in Gatlinburg was completely engulfed but I'm not sure which structure that is.

Mountain lodge is one, park vista is one. My guess is the cabins aren't the ones being counted. The fire is on top of the town and parkway.
