Forgot to add this to my post, 441 between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge known by the locals as the spur, both sides have burnt. Y'all I can't even put in to words how bad this is. I'm not trying to make this sound worse than it really is but it's bad.

Thanks but we're all safe in Rogersville. We use the trailer on weekends and mini vacations.

I hope the rain gets this under control for everyone that us in the area right now.

I live here and I can tell you it's bad guys. I don't quite understand the girl's tweet saying they're just letting it burn though. That's not the case. Fire crews from all over are here fighting. I could be wrong in saying that's not the case, I don't want to misinform but they're definitely still out fighting these things. I'm almost in Cosby, right outside Cobbly Nob and I'll tell you I could see one of the fires burning earlier tonight from my balcony at my apartment, the rain started about two hours ago, slow and steady, and it's helping.

Being reported that Gatlinburg Inn as well as Gatlinburg City Hall are still intact. No structures inside Dollywood have been damaged so far.

Last I heard it was still in tact. I know the entire mountain behind it was burning. I heard that about an hour or so ago but there's conflicting information on that so I couldn't tell you for Dead certain. This place will look like an absolute war zone tomorrow when daylight hits.

Any news on the Aquarium? Are the Dollywood Eagles in trouble?

Praying that we continue to see the sparing of human life, but there are a bunch of awesome animals that seem to be in grave danger. I'm sure the workers that care for them consider them family.

The aquarium is supposedly fine. Also heard no fire got in to Dollywood but not sure how the eagles are and breathing air.

They keep saying everyone was evacuated but there is 1000s of cabins all over the mountain. I hope everyone got out but find it tough to believe.

Pigeon Forge East end starting at light 8 is now under evacuation order.

I guess we will get a better idea of what has happened at daybreak. Not getting many updates through the news.

A few years back in Colorado some of the fires were believed to have been started by Islamic Extremists. It might not be the case here, but wouldn't surprise me if they were the culprits. The Sheriff of Seviere County stated that he knows they're here, and I've probably seen them as well at Bud's Gun Shop over there.

One more little patch of rain and then nothing till tonight when it is supposed to be heavier. Winds have calmed though..I live due north from Gatlinburg about 40 miles and we were seeing ash falling on the cars at the house yesterday
