Gatlinburg Being Evacuated

Guy on TV is in Gatlinburg along with all other guests in the hotel. Too dangerous to evacuate. Another caller said at least one of the roads (I think Ski Mtn Road, maybe Ski View...) was blocked with people trapped above the blockage.

Horrible situation.

Ski Mtn, Gnatty Branch, Sky Harbor, Mynat Park. Pigeon Forge, Shield Mtn and Parrot Mountain, Jones Cove, and Richardson Cove. Are where most of it is. The two pics I posted are of Shields Mtn and Jones Cove.

Im hoping that is retweeted bs but as close as the fires were to the town on tv I doubt it is.

It's retreated BS the crews are working hard and most of the city will be saved

Any local fire department here is accepting donations and will always have at least on person at the fire hall

A friend just left Campbell lead 2 hours ago and said houses were on fire. It does sound like everyone was evacuated in time at least.

Yep Campbell lead is sky harbor area.itz a nightmare and one of the hardest locations to get in and out od.

Could be I don't really keep track of all the Chapels there are like 300 of them up here.
