The series in my life time is pretty evenly split. You guys have won a bunch in a row true but we have a 9 game win streak to our credit. Enjoy your success now as with everything it will come to an end

My problem with bummer bangs is don't say you don't use the portal and gloat about it and behind the scenes do it. That is my problem.

He said this year’s team wasn’t built by the portal. That’s a fact. He never once said we don’t use the portal. We literally brought in JT Daniels.

Well then you have no problem. Last yr was the first yr Kirby hasn't brought in a transfer and he was very straightforward as to the reasoning. From Saturday Down South:

Sometimes, the transfer portal provides the missing ingredients to get a program from 3-9 to 6-6, or 6-6 to 9-3, or 9-3 to a national championship contender.
Or, sometimes, the portal just isn’t needed for any of it.

And he left the transfer portal alone, because that’s just kind of how it all went down.

For Smart and his powerhouse program in the fall of 2022, it was no portal, no problem.

Im not sure you followed SEC football much. They won it all last year and Tennessee was everyone’s beloved story up to this point.! We were #1 going into that game and they felt disrespected. He made the comment saying it plain and simple AFTER the game…..Watch what I’m saying here…..AFTER ! No portal players…ZERO…using his fingers and our 5* players love playing here. Also stating that these fans were ELITE.! That was a recruiting tool at that time on national TV and was the highest watched game PERIOD…! That statement was very well thought out.! Georgia fans…in that stadium (won) that game more than that ELITE TEAM.! He wasn’t foolish at all…Just a JACKASS making that statement for recruiting. The statement was towards Tennessee and how he thinks they got to where they are now !!! JACKASS…That statement was made to say hey all our 5* players love being here. The (sports writer) was stating this as a fact on what JACKASS stated. Now with all those 5* players who loved playing there and now he’s dipping in the PORTAL himself.! YES, that’s BS talk that he used on live TV as a recruiting tool. YES, he looks and acts like (ol’ Satan) in my opinion..! He’s special and deserving of all rights and then some.!!! See he’s special and different and doesn’t need the PORTAL…..YUP JACKASS..! BS !

Like you said prior to the game. It is no longer prior to the game so why are you here defending your program and telling us how great Georgia is? Shouldn't you be over on an Ohio St board telling them that Georgia is the greatest team of all time and they should not even show up? But no here you and the rest of the dog (We know how to spell dogs) fans are looking for validation of how Kirby is the bestest coach in the world and the dogs will never lose another game.

You do not what I do bud as far as following sec football. You and your coach are a bit cocky coming in here calling me a jackass and such. But that is cool - just hope you get brought down to earth a bit as ya full of ya self buddy. Portal sure helped the vols attain alittle attention this past season. I guess my problem with your coach is he wants to talk down Tennessee for doing it and now look at what ole kirby is doing now using the portal and offerind $5million for a UNC QB - ole kirby is like a politician - talking out of both sides of his mouth.

I can’t believe that college football fans can’t see the inevitable conclusion of the NIL and transfer portal decisions. Nothing can be done about it, the genie’s out of the bottle and more and more empty seats will be seen across the country. But not to worry, there’s still the TV revenue until that goes the way of NASCAR.

He doesn't call plays on offense. He's a really strong defensive mind. They've continued to be dominant on defense with 3 different coordinators during his time. Kirby is the common denominator.

NIL should not be a recruiting tool. Maybe a rule where players can’t be contacted for NIL opportunities or have any conversation related to NIL until after their first game. That’s the level of severity needed to make it effective, imo.

That ship has sailed and sunk out in the ocean somewhere to never be found. The haves are going to get stronger and the have nots are going to die off. The only possible solution I could see is limiting a school's total collective NIL money (similar to a salary cap). If they limited each school to... say $8 million, and one player got all of it, no player could have any. But that ain't ever gonna happen. It is an unlimited, bottomless bucket of money and boosters and donors will gladly contribute. I have never booed an 18 year old in my life, but Nico better ****ing produce from day 1. There are ZERO excuses for him to be average.
