Impressive huh?.. Well take a look at the 8 years of Coach X leading up to this same point where GA fans are with Richt and see if you can guess who it is..

Why would Gruden go to Georgia over the Titans? :p

I think Fisher is done. This will be the 6th season in a row that he hasn't won a playoff game. 16 seasons without winning a Super Bowl. Is now 0-5 with a team that went 13-3 last year. The only losses were Haynesworth and McCarriens. JMac was replaced with Nate Washington and Kenny Britt which are both upgrades. Fisher is gone imo and Gruden may be his replacement. I think the Titans trump Georgia.

Gruden wouldn't waste his time with a trash program like UGA.. he's got bigger and better things in sights rather than wasting years of his life in "College town USA"

I wouldn't hold your breath. Bud Adams calls the shots and he really likes Fisher.

I expect the Titans to be tough next year. We will have a much easier schedule and a good draft position to boot (can you say QB in the first round? See ya Vince).

I don't know if I will watch them next year if Fisher is still coach. Declining the penalty and taking a 4th down field goal instead of another 3rd down was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.

I think this team is screwed next year unless they get a new defensive coordinator. Cecil is the worst.

If anything, I wouldn't hold your breath on drafting a quarterback. It's going to be a weak class barring a bunch of juniors coming out. If they take Colt McCoy I might throw up on myself a little bit. He is a glorified Tony Romo.

Bud Adam's can't justify keeping Jeff Fisher around when Super Bowl winning coaches have gotten the booth. Shanahan has won two times as many championships and the Bronco's didn't hesitate to show him the door. Look at them now.... undefeated. I like Jeff Fisher but his time is up.

At least we'll get to see what Vince Young can do the rest of the season. Kerry Collins gives the team the best chance to win but this season is over. Might as well let Vince Young show what he can do after taking a back seat.

Gruden will be in the NFL next year IF he wants to coach. There will be several openings at the end of the year (if not sooner). Some that I could see Dallas, Washington, St. Louis just to name a few.

Dallas fans want Cowher or Shanahan. Fine with me, as a Titans fan I really want Gruden. I wouldn't mind Cowher but he would never stab Fisher in the back. Unless Fisher wants to pull Haslett from his crappy UFL gig to be defensive coordinator then I really really really.... x100 think Fisher needs to be let go. He plays too conservative and without Schwartz the defense is terrible.

I wouldn't put it past Fulmer to try an get another SEC gig though. I'm sure he'd love to beat Lane. I don't know if he could beat him but I bet he would love to. Could definitely eat him. Low blow.

I just don't see Bud firing him, now I could see Bud making JF get rid of the DC. Most likley they will blow the team up like they did a few years ago (remember 2010 will be an uncapped year) and start rebuilding in 2011. They are the 2nd oldest team in the NFL.

No doubt that we are missing Schwartz, but really do you think Fisher is going anywhere?? Lord no. I dont care if the Titans do not win a game and Climer is writing for his head everyday in the Tennessean. None of these other coaches you are anyone else has mentioned is going to do a better job, IN NASHVILLE, as Coach Fisher has done. This team has looked worse than any team I have ever seen, but still I do not see Fisher going anywhere.
Titans love him, Nashville loves him.

It would have been 3rd and 12... well out of field goal range... take the points or a high risk play. I think Fisher made the correct call. Moot point really since the Titans got drilled..

He needs better assistants.

And he should make Fisher get rid of the defensive coordinator. He is horrific. I think people are underestimating Bud Adam's thought. Everyone may be right that he won't fire Fisher but I think this could be the year. It's the exact same team minus Schwartz and Haynesworth. They started out 11-0 last year and are currently 0-5 this year. 7 losses in a row. After this season, it will be 6 seasons since they won a playoff game. 2003 is a long time ago.

I guess we'll have to see how the ticket sales hold up. Not many people are going to want to watch the Titans play the Jags at 0-6 following the bye week. The Titans got blown out. Who wants to waste their time and money on that game? I wouldn't be surprised if some people return their tickets.
