You're crazy if you think that it takes more than four years to have a reasonable expectation to go beyond the Sweet Sixteen. ESPECIALLY when you already made it that far twice in four years.

CBD

Regular Season: 78-49

Postseason: 1st year: NIT First Round
4th year: NCAA Runner-Up

CBP

Regular Season: 98-37

Postseason: 1st year: NCAA Second Round
4th year: NCAA First Round

Yes, Pearl did better in the regular season. But it doesn't matter. BD won in the postseason. Pearl hasn't. End of story.

For the record you are the one who wants Pearl replaced by what you call "top tier" coach. Let me put this in your court. FTR, I want Pearl to succeed too and think that he has done OK so far. However, it is NOT irrational to suggest that this team should be making regular appearances in the Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight.
