They don't have any proof. Most of them are incapable of debating a valid point of criticism, so they just resort to the old refrain, "you're right, we need to bring back Wade Houston." It just shows the intellect of the people that believe this way.

Do we consider Roy Williams to be a good coach? Kinda wondering because how long did it take him to win a championship? Advancing in the tournament is tough all it takes is one bad night for a player or 2 and you are out.

He started at KU in 1988. He made a Final Four in '91. He also made 4 Final Fours before he got his first title. Making a comparison between his numbers and Pearl's is probably not a good idea in making your case.

well it was more in the sense of arguments or debates like this (especially when a thread gets derailed like this case) don't last this long...they've usually died down or gone off to elsewhere by now

By the end of his 5th year he had 2 Regional Championships (3rd and 5th year ) and had played in the NC game and Final Four. What is your point?
