The planet who has seen the likes of Jerry Green make it just as far as your hero.

Uh with a lot better talent. Just for the record I wasnt totally for firing Green either. When we did we ended up getting the stellar Buzz Peterson. We are finally back to getting the talent level of Green's team with a much better ball coach.
You honestly believe Green is as good of coach as pearl? Relevance to me means people care about your program. I went to many of games during the Green and Buzz era that weren't even half filled. It seems to me that our own fans didn't think we were that relevant. I haven't been to a game in 3 years but it seems that we are filling the stands. The memphis/UT game a couple of years ago I believe was the highest rated NCAA game ever. Relevance means we are drawing top recruits. Pearl has brought UT bball off of life support. But I guess the grass is always greener.
Here's my favorite part of the Bruce Pearl Wailing Choir's logic. If Tennessee, which is paying a $2 mil salary, has a renovated arena, state of the art practice facility, a monstrous athletic budget, and about five spots a week on the ESPN family of networks, loses Bruce Pearl they'll be lucky to get Jeff Lebo to take the job. However, Butler and Xavier, with comparably miniscule resources and exposure, can change coaches more frequently than America holds presidential elections and stay in the Top 20.
So you were fine with Green staying on?
And the hits keep coming.
