Georgia Tech interested in Bruce Pearl???

I am glad to see that people are starting to see that Bruce Pearl is not going to take us where we are wanting to go. I believe that Bruce's best season is already behind him.

Nah, we are all just idiots that don't care about facts.

this kind of response is why you're viewed as a buffoon. I asked how your idiotic argument about candidates fits with your "facts" only lie.

I am the buffoon but yet you are the one wanting Pearl replaced by Coack K or Roy Williams. Yeah...I am the buffon.

The planet who has seen the likes of Jerry Green make it just as far as your hero.

Uh with a lot better talent. Just for the record I wasnt totally for firing Green either. When we did we ended up getting the stellar Buzz Peterson. We are finally back to getting the talent level of Green's team with a much better ball coach.

So you were fine with Green staying on?

And the hits keep coming.

Point out that post from me and I'll concede. Good luck.

The way I see it you are riding the fence. So lets clear it up.....are you for keeping Pearl or getting someone else? Your posts indicate that you are for getting rid of him.

You honestly believe Green is as good of coach as pearl? Relevance to me means people care about your program. I went to many of games during the Green and Buzz era that weren't even half filled. It seems to me that our own fans didn't think we were that relevant. I haven't been to a game in 3 years but it seems that we are filling the stands. The memphis/UT game a couple of years ago I believe was the highest rated NCAA game ever. Relevance means we are drawing top recruits. Pearl has brought UT bball off of life support. But I guess the grass is always greener.

Here's my favorite part of the Bruce Pearl Wailing Choir's logic. If Tennessee, which is paying a $2 mil salary, has a renovated arena, state of the art practice facility, a monstrous athletic budget, and about five spots a week on the ESPN family of networks, loses Bruce Pearl they'll be lucky to get Jeff Lebo to take the job. However, Butler and Xavier, with comparably miniscule resources and exposure, can change coaches more frequently than America holds presidential elections and stay in the Top 20.

I thought you knew. After all, you are all about the facts.

Pearl is Jerry Green with an upgrade on People Skills.

Their teams' discipline factors are strikingly similar.

Don't forget that they are proclaiming that nobody else except Pearl would've had a chance against Kansas. That was my personal favorite.

lets just say I had lived through the cycle of Wade Houston to O'Neal... You dont fire a coach who had that kind of success at a school like UT who is trying to build. People like you want an instant national championship and would change out a coach every four years.
