Bottom line: Pearl has built the program in only 4 completed seasons...consistency is just being achieved. Now take your grandpappy's picture (avatar) and go to the alabama board.

I love these threads. "UT basketball will never be anything without Pearl", "Well who could we get?", "We beat #1 teams!". I guess wins over #1 teams is a major thing, especially in the regular season. So that's why Chaminade is such a powerhouse, they had that to hang their hats on. Seriously, we're dishing out $2 mil and have great facilities to draw recruits in. We can get a good coach here

It still amazes me that so many people are dogging Pearl. He has brought Tennessee basketball to being relevant. The fact that we lost Smith, and are still having a good season makes me like Pearl even more. Give Pearl some props. Tennessee Basketball is much better now than it was pre-pearl. Oh and hat vol please feel free to tell me I'm fair weather and don't know what I'm talking about.

You fail to take into account that CBP has never been past the Sweet Sixteen and that is not good enough anymore at UT. I like CBP, but he has to step it up.
