I don’t disagree but the committee will not leave out an undefeated Power 5 Champ. It just won’t happen. What if that happened to UT? Would you be cool with that? Also, the ACC beat the SEC head to head this year more often than not.I don't care if FSU wins tonight, they would not be favored over Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Bama, Washington, Ohio State and possibly Oregon. They would be 13 and 0 in a pathetic ACC with a number of struggles.
Those scenario’s differences were PSU & OU had 2 losses in 2017 as P5 champs. In 2018, OSU and USC both had 2 losses as P5 champs. In 2021 Baylor, Utah and Pitt all had 2+ losses as P5 champs.2017 Alabama says hello.
2021 Georgia says hello.
I think Ohio State got in one year over B1G champion Penn State.
Not being argumentative, but frankly the scenario has happened.
Yep. I’m not sure FSU is a top 10 team without their starting QB. But there is no precedent for an undefeated P-5 conference champion to not make it. It’s never happened. And I doubt the committee starts now.I don't care if FSU wins tonight, they would not be favored over Georgia, Michigan, Texas, Bama, Washington, Ohio State and possibly Oregon. They would be 13 and 0 in a pathetic ACC with a number of struggles.
