Heupel’s offense was three plays this year. The creativity was non existent. Most offensive coordinators try to put in new wrinkles each week after week two or three. What do you know…a wheel route to the RB coming out of the backfield for a TD. Well executed. Hope we see a lot more of that in Heupel’s offense soon.
2017 Alabama says hello. And if FSU, Michigan and Texas win today ... and Bama beats UGA and somehow an SEC team (or two) ends up in the top 4, the committee is a joke as they are not strong enough to say "SEC is out this year" because there would be 3 undefeated conference champs and another conference champ that beat the SEC conference champ. That would have 4 conference champions in the playoff with the tiebreaker to the conference that beat the other conference.
If UGA cannot beat Bama, they do not deserve to be playing for the title.
Look at the history of the playoffs. What you are saying has been wrong a number of times. You’re saying UGA stays in front of Bama even if Bama beats them? Yeah that’s not happening. UGA will win anyway so it won’t matter but if Bama beats UGA then UGA is absolutely out without 2 of the other favorites losing. Why even play the championship game if you’re going to ignore the result? And then you go to Bama and Texas. If Bama lost a very close game at Texas maybe you could make a case for taking them over Texas but Texas whipped Bama at Bama. That can’t be ignored. If Bama does pull the upset they need either Texas to lose or FSU to lose, assuming Michigan won’t lose. You can’t drop an undefeated FSU out, even with their QB issues. Look at Ohio State in 2014. They actually wouldn’t have won that title without their QBs getting hurt. JT Barrett wasn’t leading them anywhere. Cardale Jones came in and they lit it up. Also, had we beaten USC last year would you have been fine if the committee left us out due to Hooker’s injury? Of course not!
That’s because there weren’t any other deserving teams. Totally different situation.Look at the history of the playoffs. What you are saying has been wrong a number of times.
The team that got the snot beat out of themselves last year in the title game LOST their conference title game and was the #3 seed.
