Get Ready For ND

Like I say little girl, if being invited to join a sorry conference turns you on, then go for it.

Enjoy your Tennessee win. Its the highlight of your season (I would say the UM win was, but we didn't seem to have a problem beating them either in '02). Only beating SC would top out the ND season and you know as well as I, that aint gonna happen :D

As for us, well be looking to make it to our conferences championship game. Your season has already peaked.

Again, congrats and see ya in South End :shakeit:

I personally do not care about losing to ND, except that it cost us our quarterback.
Notre Dame has become nothing but a second rate spoiler team. If beating a banged up team with a 3rd string quarterback brings them a little happiness, let them have it.
Did I just say that?

Give it up AJ, you're getting killed here. Your only story is that your team beat ours. We all agreed on that days ago. On every other measure, you've got nothing. All your other arguments are :bs:

When Morons Have A Computer- On the Next Oprah.

Anyways, Congrats on the win and the highlight of your season. See ya in South End :shakeit:

He's back! You've totally ignored many posts that have exposed you and your lame arguments. You expose your own ignorance by resorting to hillbilly and inbreeding jokes. You've got nothing. Yet it must mean something to you since you can't stay away. We continue to respond because it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

1) You say we make excuses but you and your buddy's posts do the very same to explain ND's losses.

2) One of your excuses is that one team that beat you was a lot better when THEY HAD THEIR STARTING QB!

3) You accuse us of stereotyping when your last post if full of them.

Please come with some better material so we at least have a challenge.

Wow, my only argument is that my team beat yours. Good enough for me. What else is there really.

Also I am sorry that I can't respond in full to each and every thing that each and every person says. I never brought up the conference thing, all I did was respond to a statement saying no one wanted Notre Dame. That as we have revealed is not true. So I think that is "a valid argument"

Also just winning your section of the conference is not that big of a achievment , any achievment also not yet obtained, Neb. is winning the Big 12 North are they really that great of a team. I am sure I will also hear some crap on how terrible the Big 12 is well boys if this is the case we are running out of conferences. So far the Big East and Big Ten are horrible and now probably the Big 12 so the question is, is there any other good conference besides the SEC? You and I know it would be ignorant for someone to say no, so tell me another good conference

the thing I have heard the most as well is "See you in South End next year" tell me which part of this is a compelling argument. Next year, we might beat you. Is that really it. There are hundreds of you and now it is just me (Jasonms got banned) Way to go out on I limb and make a prediction for a YEAR from now. Well look out for ND in 2022 I here the tailback of the future was just born.

Maybe these guys don't get CBS where they are? I don't understand why he keeps arguing that the CBS games are regional? The games that the Vols have played on ABC were the SEC Championship games.... which were also NOT regional. He needs to quit arguing about what he does not know.

And the NBC coverage is worse than pay-per-view.

:moon2:

ALso all those games are not national.  I thought we figured this out too.  When they show the insert with four games coming on do you get all of them or even a choice cause I don't

:snoring: you almost got a post correct.... but the Wyoming game was on NATIONAL television.... ESPN2 on Aug. 31, 2002.

^ Just some of the teams that Vols have played in the last 20 years.

The Vols' current opponents' record is 44-24. Notre Dame's is 41-27.
The Vols' opp-opp record is 304-275. Notre Dame's opp-opp is 301-295.

I wasn't writing about games on TV *** . I was writing in response to a statement about how poor ND's competition is allegedly by showing a similar post about Tenn. and who they play. If you don't pay attention you may get lost, why don't you sit this one out.

As for the list ND had played over half of those named (13 out of 22) and for the most part numerous times. ND regualrly cycles in Miami(6), FSU(5), Mich.(16), and USC(20). THese are some of the most successful teams in the last 20 yrs. Everyone remembers ND plays Navy every year did you forget about USC (Most Successful team RIGHT FREAKIN NOW)

ND opp
Miami
FSU, Mich, Syc, WSU, colorado, BC, Penn st., Vir, Ohio st, neb, GT, pitt, AND USC, Oklahoma, ASU, Texas, and Washington (they were good at the time of those games)

How come BYU didn't make that list?

...and AllVol is not a freakin' a-hole gosh darn it. :D

Let's move on.

Actually I should have included BYU (with one more year) if you remember history in 1984 BYU was national champ, another opponent I am sure you would be afraid to play.

You're right. We have ducked the Mormons for years.

I am glad to see that Boston College made your list. I guess being the second best Catholic school in the country 2 years in a row got your attention.

 I could do this all night.

UT is not afraid to play anyone we congradulated you with your own personal thread but that's not good enough for you ND chowder heads ... ND is the greatest in your mind, while Tennessee is the greatest in our minds....let it go ...you guys have got other fish to fry with your upcoming games so move on

yes, we've avoided BYU because they play that "unconventional defense" that only half their opponents (ND excluded) can figure out. Hmmm didn't UNLV figure it out :dlol: :dlol: :dlol:

Brave choice taking on "1 win" Washington this year. :pepper:

No. I did. I did it in response to your statement of "You folks got nothing left to play for".

Actually, the SEC title game is something EVERY SEC team aims for when the season starts. A ND win would have been nice, but oh well. Not this year. but we are still on target for the season goal.

ND would be too, if they aimed for a 6-5 season and a trip to Nashville and the Music City bowl

The Big 12 is a REAL conference, probably better than the SEC. Its about time somebody started getting as good as the SEC.

Oh, and I also said, See ya next year in South End :shakeit:

Come on you are pulling out of context. The discussion was on good teams in the last 20 years, washington over the time period was a good team. Not every statement can used in EVERY situation. In the time period all teams have had good and bad seasons, including Tenn and nd the frustrating part is having to explain every single part. I KNOW you KNOW THIS TOO, I will never assume knowledge again, all it does is cause explainations like this

Technically, ND is also in position to beat USC MEANING they are playing eachother. Don't assume a victory over Auburn just cause you are playing them. They will most likely wax you AGAIN. All the talk about ND just being a bump in the road may also show Auburn that you are not the challenge they thought you may be. I mean I'll give you Vandy and Ken. but Auburn not even a game.

For the unassuming I am being heavily sarcastic in the first sentance of paragraph two. Translating to: You WILL play in the SEC championship but WINNING that game is another story. Like winning against USC is going to be an uphill battle for ND.

p.s. I never said you have nothing left to play for. That was Jasonms maybe whoever reads these posts to you forgot to mention that. Although the statement does have some merit given your chances against Auburn

... and Washington (they were good at the time of those games)

So winning one game makes you very good? How exactly was Washington good at the time of the game?
