Get Ready for the Starbucks Boycott

K thanks. Just a thought that popped in my head when thinking about stamps always going up and then thought about how we sell missles, planes and stuff to friendly nations.

Again I'm guessing but DoD doesn't make the military equipment. The contractors do and I assume they receive the $ on sales. I'm sure there is some royalty/tax that goes back to the Treasury but I don't know that an agency gets direct revenue from arms sales.

The Post Office directly generates revenue for it's services.

Hang in there IP - you'll eventually make it to enlightenment.

Me? I've already been broken. No hope and buried under Gorilla dung.

Yeah, at first I didn't realize IP was a Nader hating Democrat. Unfortunate, but I've seen the affliction a lot over the last decade. He's got a lot of potential.

I wish you hadn't thrown in the towel, volinbham. You are one of the better debators.

There's still hope for you volinbham.

Looks like there's open invite to the gorilla train.

Yet they have better health metrics, and they pay less for it.

No one is saying any system is perfect, but CLEARLY the single payer systems are more efficient than ours.

The Swiss system is wholly reliant on private insurance. They happen to be #2 on cost.

Your German system is, I think, 90% based on private insurance. They happen to be #3. The Swiss and Munich Re effect, I should think.

Rofl at better healthcare "metrics."

Ah, when we sold planes, i thought we were selling used.

IP is just mad because he is a dyed-in-the-wool Dem, and I'm even more critical of them (because they have more potential for goodness...) IP has a lot of potential, but he needs more experience under his belt.

I've never voted for a democrat in my life. My parents are both ultra-conservative. I am in no way a "dyed-in-the-wool Dem."

No they don't. They may be prevented because of the highly inefficient US system from receiving the care they need, but they do not choose; they are forced into a situation of "consumer" apartheid.

Not even close to being correct.

Sure, they can walk in at 6 am and get to see the student docs at midnight. Sure.

Problem is, this is just another indication of the inefficiency of the private system.

You walk into our ER with something as minor as a toothache and you won't even be waiting that long. You get brought in after a car accident and your ass is getting treated very quickly by someone you'll address as "doctor".

What the hell do you know?

Just because your an actual doctor.

You need to wake up and smell the real world.

Can you smell what Gibbs is cooking?
