Ghosts..... Have you ever seen them?

Also, seems quite a few cemeteries in dekalb might be hot spots. Never knew about the one mentioned here til now, but I was with some people at another one close to smith co. line. We were just doing some basic investigating and kept hearing a growling sound. Couldn't find a dog or anything anywhere. To non believers it sounds stupid, but I just got this gut wrenching feeling when I heard it. We took a few pics and beside an old church an apparition looking figure was there. We left ASAP. Not sure why, but we all felt uneasy after what we were hearing.

Anyone with experience know if that is associated with something more malevolent than just a ghost? We figured it was and that's why we called it a night.

Answering this and the question before, I presume something can follow you home because it is a spirit and gathers energy from your house then proceeds to show up. I don't think many would prefer to do this because they'd rather be where they're used too. But also, I've never experienced anything malevolent, but I doubt any spirit can physically touch you. I'm not sure though.

I have spoken with people who have detailed ghosts pulling their hair, pushing them down stairs, etc, so yes, ghosts are able to use force.

Is permission required to go here?

Basically its off limits. But its in the middle of the woods. Ive heard people that went. But only in the day. And they were not brave enough to go down in the tunnels. The pic of the tunnel is just the camera hanging down in there. There is a ladder at one of the openeings though . It was a gun powder factory. It has flooded the tunnels a few times. No telling how far they go. Most the factory is underground

Believe it or not I've had one following me around for years

any idea where it came from?

Yes.

Fooled around with a Ouija board years ago and I don't close out the experience correctly. (I found out later) it's been hanging out since. Moves things, opens/ closes doors. I see its shadows sometimes and sets of the motion detector in my hallway sometimes.

At first it scared the hell out of me, but I've gotten use to it and generally don't pay it much attention. (Other than if it gets loud at night and wakes me- couple times I grabbed my pistol and searched the home)

Have you got a ouija board and tried to close it since? And has it tried to connect with you?

No I have not. I threw the board across the room that day. It sat there for 2 weeks before I threw it away. It scared the crap out of me. I can't explain the fear I felt.

My sister and 2 of her girlfriends fooled with it. It wouldn't answer any questions they asked it, unless the questions were about me. It told me about my future. ( marriage, kids, finances)

Then it spelled out mad twice. Once with their hands on it the next time with no one touching it. That's when I threw it across the room.

I haven't ever messed with one, although I've been tempted. I don't think I will. Do you think it'd be more active in a cemetery?

I'm gonna hire Bobby Bottleservice aka Bobby Bottleservice to bounce those ghosts cause they're very much Ghost Bouncers

That's what I always worry about. I really wanna check this place out on snows hill and might even be willing to try to work something out with the ones interested on here, but I always fear dragging something home with me. It's a thrill when you're out doing it, but if it starts happening in your home it can get pretty creepy.

Also I agree with the posters about it not always being like you see on tv. I've had a few instances in my life that made my head down my spine tingle. Had company over once that saw it to prove to myself I wasn't losing it. First time I saw it I was at the dinner table. It just looked like a human shadow on the wall. Walked around the table, stopped and seemed to look over at us and then walk away and just disappeared. Second time it appeared as a fuzzy ball looking shadow hovering in the same room. We have a confirmed death before we moved to this location. A guy turned his tractor over where our back yard is. Quite a friendly guy though.
I made some phone calls and I am working on finding out who owns the property. It possibly could be owned by the state but id bet it's private property. I'd really like to take some folks down there that has all the equipment.

Leave Ouija Boards alone. You don't have a clue what you are messing with and what you will open a door for.

Remember "The Exorcist"? The real story behind the true story that the book and movie were based on, started with using a Ouija Board.

Do you think people who are pro-sensitive to paranormal activity are the only ones who connect with the ouija board?

Not from what some people have told me. Pretty much everyone is open to the troubles of the Ouija Board. Ouija Boards open up a door to the other side and you don't know who or what will enter the opened door. That is not something to screw around with.

Too late

I believe some experiences from Ouija boards are genuine, but I believe the majority of them are from you just wanting stuff to happen.
