I seem to remember that Disney Star Wars had another show that Gina had a lead in after Mando. When Gina was fired, they canceled the series. And, she was still going to be part of the Mando series. So they may have not renewed her contract but they had shows lined up with her having a big part in their production.

Yeah, she still wasn't fired, and shows fail to air after the announcement all the time. She couldn't be fired because she wasn't under contract. And it didn't just get canceled because of her. There were like 8 Star Wars projects that got announced at the same time and only 4 happened (and that's probably a high success rate). It wasn't "lined up" if they didn't even have a contract yet.

She got dropped 2 months after announcing, so she had already been causing problems and they were still ready to move forward with her. It's not like she made one mistake and intolerant Disney took it all away from her. She got several chances, and they were still going to make her a star. I think if we take partisanship out of it, all/most of you would be saying, "Idiot, you don't have freedom of speech with your employer."

Now she's a martyr to the right and probably gets a different kind of fame and opportunity for the rest of her life. She'll be fine, but almost certainly will lose her lawsuit.

When you read her post you thought she was stating that a Holocaust against republicans is coming?

The post didn’t even mention republicans nor democrats. If anything it seems to be more about the importance of unity and avoiding divisiveness
