Give me your wins

Nah, my comment was much more fitting than the pages of Florida horses*** I've gotta read about. No? You think anything different then you're ****** in your brain.

I think your comment was nothing more than a coping mechanism.

You can tell us all day how hot your great grandmother was in 1926, but it probably doesn't mean much to anyone but your great grandfather.

14-0 is my prediction . I'll deal with MY OWN disappointment after the season.

So all you REALISTS don't have to explain it to me .:moon2:

Actually it was tongue in cheek, giving 99 a hard time. If its the 99 I've known from here and GVX for years, he's always been alright. I never knew a lil comment like that to rattle him. So perhaps I need to put a lil smiley face to let him know I was messin. God forbid you fellas take something the wrong way and think your Gators are being smartassed on a rival website.

Hence my smartass response about all the Vandy threads.

It's all good...let's go look at chicks in the Austin Peay thread.

My senator from Florida has left me in an irritable state.

I thought I had someone I could believe in. It didn't take long to end that

We had a legitamate shot at winning the UGA and Scar games last year. Why is it such a stretch to think we could win one with improved coaching and (hopefully) defense?

As much as I wish we would, I don't think we have much of a chance of beating UGA this year. Their offense will be to much for our defense. I do think there is a small chance of us beating USCe after the bye week. That is if we stay healthy.

Austin Peay, WKU, S. Alabama, Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky

1st 3 self explanatory, Mizzou won't have anything close to a defense and we get them after they play Ga, Fla, and USCe..

Vandy and KY are Vandy and KY...

We beat USCe at home in a hard-fought, close game...and Tiny dominates Clowney....

That's 7 wins...

I think we beat Auburn at home in another close game...to get to 8 wins.

Losses to Oregon, Fla, UGA, and Bama.

All of this is conditional on not losing any significant starters on defense....If we get the injury bug--I think we lose to USCe & Auburn, but still beat a very average Mizzou team and go 6-6.

GO VOLS! :salute:

I think 7-5 would be about right and anything less than six would be tough to swallow. Last year we had roughly eight wins on the schedule when the season started and this year I think we have six. I think we beat USCe or Auburn to get the seventh win. It is important to beat USCe and UGA soon and consistently.

AP- win
WKU- win
Oregon- loss
Florida- loss
South Alabama- win
Georgia- loss
USCje - win
Alabama - loss
Mizzou- win
Auburn- loss
Vandy- win
UK- win

Wrong. Returning all backs. CP loss will hurt for sure but Bray kept you in the game when he decided to play just to crush your hopes at the end with a pic. Try naming how many times he did this? Hunter was simply changed due to injury and still does not have his mojo back according to the Titans.

Reminds me of 1998 on offense.

Bray, with all of his faults is light years ahead of any QB on our roster. WR is not close to last year and neither is tight end. Hoping a run heavy offense can keep us in games and shorten some games.

For Sure wins:
Austin Pea
South Alabama
Western Kentucky...we should win, but you never know
Kentucky

O know that's only 4 wins.....O well we can still hope we win 5 or 6 Games

Auburn is a tossup game, you are kidding yourself if you think we are that much better and/or more talented than they are. We are marginally better than AU at best.

Name one place in my post where I said any of this...lol.

If you actually read what I posted you would see it is a wash in position groupings....

The person who attempted to answer the question led off with Frazier was recruited for Malzahn's (sp) offense.... that is as blind as saying UT is destined to go 5-7....

I'm not pumping sunshine... would just like to hear some intelligent input on why UT will lose to Vandy, Auburn, or Mizzou...

I put your Senator in the same pot as the fat bast@rd from New Jersey, and my 2 Senators from Tennessee. I'm done with all of them.

Kiehl Frazier - Yahoo! Sports

I made that comment about him being recruited to play under Malzauhn and I stand by it. Above is a link to Rivals showing that Gus Malzauhn was his lead recruiter. I'll gladly hang up and allow you to attempt to save some face.

Yeah--and he had about the same number of wins against SEC competition as these guys...he just couldn't get it done against the tougher SEC competition--so, what's your point? His talent and experience STILL didn't get it done when it counted....even with our pathetic defense last year--we were in position to win against UGa and USCe (not Bray's fault on his fumble against USCe)....But just what did Bray do against Missouri when WE NEEDED HIS LEADERSHIP??? :salute:

You have to be kidding, right? You do remember that for the first month of the season, including the game against UF which was the best team they beat all season, Jamal Lewis was the starting RB. He is almost without question one of the two best backs who has ever played at UT and there is no RB on this roster who is even within a stone's throw of being worthy to be mentioned in the same breath as Lewis.

I know it's July and people are trying to see the bright side of things, but me a freaking break.

You need to lay off the Family Guy Stewie, it has rotted your brain. We were discussing qb's. I was at that game so yes I remember and Lewis was 21 attempts for 82 yards btw with no scores. Bryson is the one who showed his stuff in that game with Tee, Peerless, and Jeff Hall. Not giving you a break if you can't use any sense or even type it for that matter.

You believe in politicians? All they do is screw the public. The difference between a politician and a hooker is that she's clean after she takes a shower. Our government is basically an aristocracy.

I just can't agree with this as I have never seen someone half-ass and quit like this guy did at my school. So much potential and not a single quality win, not ONE. There is a lot more to a QB than his arm people.

Bray was not in fault in almost any loss because if we didn't let them score all the time, he would of been atleast 8-4. Blaming Bray is ignoring the real reason for last year. Where was our defense in the first 3 quarters of those games? Blaming Bray for our losses is like blaming Bush for our economy when it was Bill who revoked Glass-Steagall.

For those pointing to Lane Kiffin's first year... there really aren't many parallels. IMO Jones has a much better overall team than Kiffin did. Point resides in the fact that Jones has a legit OL and isn't starting 4 walk-ons. Also, Kiffin's wins over UGA and USC weren't against the UGA and USC of 2013. 2009 UGA was 8-5 and USC finished 7-6.

Regardless, I can see 7-5 this year but I think 6-6 is more realistic. The way I see things shaking out:

For sure wins: AP, WKU, SA
Probable wins: Kentucky
Toss-ups favoring us: Vandy, Mizzou
Toss-ups not favoring us: USC, UGA, Auburn
Not going to happen: UF, Bama, Oregon

Even getting 6 wins could be rough. These guys simply don't know winning in the SEC. They're won a combined 5 SEC games in the last 3 years. The Oregon/Florida games have the potential to send the team on a downward spiral. That will really tell us what kind of coach Jones is and what kind of staff he has.
