I kind of feel this thread is overdue for a mercy kill at this point. But I do find it humorous the mods have decided to spare it. I'd lock and sticky/archive it to be honest, keep it around for all to see.

Funny because Stokes was on two different local radio stations and specifically said the opportunity to play immediately was a major factor in going to UT. So, lol back at you.

In hind sight, he only thought redshirt would be an option if he wasn't able to keep up in practice. After the first practice he realized he'd be starting. Clearly 'after-the-fact' talk. Lol.

Like I said, he didn't even play in his first eligible game, so the answer to your statement is NO.

Arkansas had a much more appealing lack of post depth than Tennessee...and as I said he'd have played at Florida as well.

Yes it was an option, one that wast pursued obviously, however it was something he had discussed.

The point simply is...you're making it sound as it was by default that he came to Tennessee, as if none of the other teams with a scholarship had PT available. That's not true at all, in fact it's completely incorrect.

The thread was ridiculous. It's even more ridiculous that IE still hasn't admitted the FACT that it was knee-jerk and reactionary, and that he was wrong. Problem with a fan like IE is that instead of being a man and saying he was wrong, he will jump on any low moment during this next season as evidence of his position on Martin. Honest to God, I think he believes he was right in making that knee-jerk assessment so early in the season.
