I don't dislike his style. I hate the coaching. All different styles can win. No accountability, limited D, no offensive execution, player indifference, etc equals hollow wins with talent and garbage teams when the talent fades.

Well, two things:

1. Hat insinuated that people know nothing about a coach like Ryan, while I stated I obviously did.

2. As usual you will do hat's bidding by saying others comments are useless, but a totally random post designed to do nothing but antagonize by hat merits no criticism.

Sorry, but the Emperor has no clothes. It's quite evident to most people here that a clique of people here (like you) are willing to fawn over his every utterance and attack those who dare to point out your hero's agenda and BS.

Looking back at their entire resume, CBP has a National Championship at S Indiana and a Sweet 16 at Milwaukee. Explain why that is meaningless now.

Cool. Rick Insell has national titles at Shelbybille too, but I'm not interested.

Sweet 16s are again the linchpin of the Pearl support. If that's what you're after, congrats to you. We can do better if the guy would address some of it.

You haven't addressed any of my points in your responses. I've not mentioned Sweet 16s, Tourney appearances, #1 rankings or anything except for the fact that you refuse to criticize hat doing the same thing you would characterize as "hollow pettiness".

I mean, isn't it "hollow pettiness" to start a thread in the manner this one was started? Yet, not a peep from you about that conflict. Nada.

You can spout all the nonesense you want about being above it all and intellectually superior, however you want to put it, but it has always been that you refuse treat hat's posts in the same manner you do anyone else's who deigns to criticize him.

As far as the agenda issue, you have got to either kidding or blind. Nobody is that vitriolic to the coach of "their" team without some personal issues and hat has been pretty forthcoming in his personal agenda. I'm pretty sure Bo Ryan had four national titles at Platteville. Pretty sure he doesn't get any statues built for him in Madison for those.

Sure, Hat has personal issues with Pearl, but I don't give a crap. You use them to gloss over the myriad shortcomings and use your issues with hat to avoid the actual issue.

I don't share in the agenda, while u do believe ut to be reasonable. I absolutely agree that our coach could win with some semblance of coaching.

Get off the crusade and we can probably talk basketball.

Hat came on by insinuating people here are stupid because they wouldn't want Ryan's style at UT, that they don't understand basketball and, hence, Ryan's style because they wouldn't want it here.
