Leason 1 on humility:
If you have concerns about your personal health, do not assume it is the role of others to protect you. That would be the opposite of courage, civility, and humility.
Her comments during the vax mandate discussion show she does not know what is going on. She's making decisions based on bad info. The facts she presented were liesLink to her choosing not to work from a safe space?
Link to her lying?
Voluntarily making a minor personal sacrifice for health or peace of mind of a colleague is not “taking responsibility for their health.” That’s just shrieking hyperbole.
I assume you're also opposed to businesses reserving the prime parking spots for the disabled. If they wanted those spots they could have gotten there when the store opened. It's not our job to accommodate the gimps. Amirite?
They're clearly separated far enough that spittle will not reach anotherFrom:
Neil Gorsuch rues loss of civility in public life in his new book
"In his book, Gorsuch makes a plea for kindness and manners, recounting advice from the English grandmother of his wife, Louise, who told him that he would regret things he did and things left undone, but that he would never be sorry for being kind.
And he notes that George Washington had to copy by hand all 110 rules of civility that were written by the Jesuits in 1595. In the interview, Gorsuch paraphrased one rule that he particularly liked.
“Do not speak so closely to another person with such enthusiasm that you bedew the other man with your spittle,” he said, from a safe distance. “It’s a good rule. It’s a good rule.”

So he is a douchebag for not wearing a mask, but she is not a douchebag for requiring it?I'm guessing Gorsuch has probably attended more than a few Jewish funerals, and willingly consented to wearing a kippah at those funerals. Why? Because he was requested to do so and refusing to do so would be a major douchebag move and sign of disrespect. Wonder why he's refusing to wear a mask know? Oh I know, because he's trying to be a douchebag and show disrespect for his colleague. MAGA!
(1) Gorsuch says we should be kind to one another.
(2) Wearing a mask at the request of another who is immunocompromised would be an act of kindness.
.: (3) Gorsuch believes he should wear a mask where it would be an act of kindness.
(4) Gorsuch believes that one never regrets being kind.
.: (5) Gorsuch would not regret wearing a mask.
Seems to be the argument he's committed to.
So he is a douchebag for not wearing a mask, but she is not a douchebag for requiring it?
Usually I consider the one requiring special considerations to be the onerous one.
Has there ever been an established protocol on for the Supreme Courts apparel? Were masks added?

That is a horrible comparison. In this scenario another person cannot walk or is disabled and needs to have easier access to the business. You are seriously going to equate that to someone freely choosing not to wear a blue paper towel on their face?

No, it's a valid comparison. You're asking able-bodied people to make a minor accommodation (walking a little further than they otherwise would have to) to make life easier on those with a pre-existing condition.

Asking others to cover their face with ceremonial cloth is not being kind. She started it(1) Gorsuch says we should be kind to one another.

Seems like her conservative colleagues, save one, think differently than you.Asking others to cover their face with ceremonial cloth is not being kind. She started it
They're all fully vaxxed, tested and spread out. If she had any desire to understand the situation, her recent comments shows she doesn't, she would realize her request is useless. Might as well ask him to wear a hat
