Great news from Florida

Lagway was looking good against UGA until he went down. If he is down for the rest of the year as some are saying, it is hard to see Napier being fired for failing to win the last few games with a 3rd stringer from Yale. He should get at least another year. It looked like they were headed up with Lagway before he went down.

UF has already said they are keeping Napier regardless of what happens.

Everyone has a voice now thanks to social media. And you're not the only Tennessee fan with this mentality against Florida. Every year when Florida week is upon us this sentiment rears it's ugly head. And not just from weak fans like yourself. The media that covers Tennessee does the same thing.

The players and coaches hear it. And given how we continue to play worse against bad Florida teams than even good Alabama teams you can't say this negative noise from the fans isn't having an effect.
Wow! I hope our program isn’t that soft. Allowing social media to impact the play on the field?

UF AD waiting to see how Cignetti does next season with out 30+ transfers from JMU on the roster.

Unless Lagway gets healthy, or SunBelt Billy finds a QB in the portal, I can't imagine Florida will be much better off next season.

Reading between the lines, “It’s not in the budget to replace Billy at this time, and the prospects to replace him aren’t inspiring us to find the money.”

I hope they give Billy another year, I know the family and their good people.

With the news about their basketball coach, the Florida AD has a bigger fire to try to contain.

We must be doing pretty good this year, because D4H is back spouting his usual mindless BS. As if our mindset has anything to do with how this team performs.

Fans have a huge effect on players and coaches. You think that don't hear the social media chatter positive or negative? Players and coaches hear everything. And this fanbase's self fulfilling prophecy of Florida owning us definitely seeps into the players and coaches. Why else do you think we always play so tight against them? Even this year our team was much looser playing Alabama than Florida. And I think a large part of it is how negative this fanbase gets every year during Florida week. You know good and well that the fan sentiment before the Florida game is always the worst each season.

Players and coaches are human last I checked. And human beings are influenced by the noise surrounding them. If people gave you positive reinforcement every day you don't think that would affect your mood? We're all human at the end of the day. And the noise whether positive or negative affects us.
