Greatest hip-hop/rap album of all-time?

I can understand that. His political fire, to me, translates into raw, authentic emotion... which most music seems to be missing these days.

I only agree with about 20% of what he raps about, but his flow is undeniably great... like you said.

Agreed, he is very passionate about his music but after 3 or 4 songs you start to lose interest.

Have not heard anything by him recently, how does he feel about Obama, cause he hated Bush.

Who knows... he once stated he wouldn't elect a minority president simply for being a minority (like the Black vote for PBO), but I do know Tech liked certain Socialist aspects, but I don't know how he'd feel about a Socialist-lite government.

Anyway, I digress. Listen to Revolutionary Volume 1 all the way through. There are some tracks that aren't relevant to politics.

YouTube - Brother Ali - Forest Whitiker

Brother Ali - Shadows on the Sun

YouTube - Heiruspecs- "Dollar"

Heiruspecs - A Tiger Dancing

Nice! "The Undisputed Truth" is definitely one of my favorite hip hop albums. Of course, "Shadows on the Sun" is right up there with it. Great production (can Ant do wrong?), great lyrics, great flow. Nothing to complain about there.

Yeah, I could've gone with either one also but Shadows was the first album I heard so I always rank that slightly higher. Can't go wrong either way, really.

"You Never Know" from Vol. 2 is sad as hell :cray:

Mos Def isn't bad I just really like that Oh No song. Talib is actually one of my favorites. I like his style.

Quality was a great record. Black Star, to me, was one of the best hip hop records to come out in the late 90's.

The Children's Story cover, Respiration, Astronomy, and their rendition of Thieves in the Night were all excellent tracks.

which song do most of ya'll like better.

B.I.G. & Bone- Notorious Thugs

Pac & Bone- Thug Luv.

I think I like Biggie's jam a little better

I got Pandora One and it is damn good for the soul
