Greatest Vol Player that didn't play in the NFL?

Munoz was great. Who was more talented? He was an All American. His knees just didn't hold up.

I talked to Michael when I met him with one of my buddies from the team. Said that nobody would sign him after a physical. Knees were shredded. Severe pain and swelling all throughout his time at UT. If healthy he had a 12 year starting NFL career. His knees will be replaced by the time he is 35.

i really liked johnathon hefney and johnathon wade and was surprised they were both irrelevant although they may have had very brief stints that i dont remember

Condredge Holloway.

The fact he never made it to the NFL remains a travesty. One of the great quarterbacks of his age.

Throw a shout-out to Kevin Mays as well. Think he would've been another 10-year NFL lineman for us were it not for the injury.

Agree on Kevin Mays. I saw on another forum he has a 6'4" 275 pound 8th grader. If he plays half as nasty as his dad we would be getting a good one.

Nobody has mentioned Charles McRae and what a bust he was with Tampa Bay...Same for Keith DeLong with the Niners. They were both great at Tennessee though.

Tony was Redskins QB during NFL Strike Scab season 87 I think.

Beat the Cowboys when most of their players had crossed the picket line. Movie "The Replacements" with Keanu Reeves based on that Redskins team.

Tony Robinson had heart. Cleaned boats, threw touchdowns, and kicked ass.

Yea but being one of the top (if not THE top) tackles in college at that time, as well as being the son of the greatest offensive tackle to ever play at any level, you would think that somebody would at least invite the man to camp

His knees were made of glass. His career was over after his senior year and he knew it.

James Banks - He could have been another name mentioned in WRU lists if he kept his head on straight
