100% spot on! In all honesty, Tony has helped raise the popularity of the sport more than anyone. The CWS just averaged the most fans per game in their history. If people have a problem with him then that’s their problem. He isn’t apologizing for any actions and Vol fans shouldn’t be apologizing either. Whenever I see a guy like that acting like one of the guys and he tears up talking about how he will never get to be on a bus ride with them again, that dude is as genuine as they come. I don’t want my coach pretending to be someone they aren’t. Be who are. If you want to be a little over the top with celebrating then do you. People are so insensitive nowadays. All I know is Tony is the best baseball coach in the world and I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else. All these other fan bases are just in their feels because the villains won. As I have always said, unless you are a Tennessee fan nobody cares about Tennessee. So why should we care about anyone else???

lol… it was the most bizarre thing ever to bring up Freeze and Pearl. One called prosecutes on a state issued phone. The other is well known for being a foul mouthed cad that cheated on his wife, lied to the NCAA etc. He could have literally picked 100 better examples.

Yes he got fired last year and they had to hire a new coach. It was only a news story for about half a day. Alabama always knows how to brush things under the rug. It actually worked out for them though because their new coach is a better coach.
