Here’s a story for you.

A client of mine is a serious gun nut, he has pictures of his guns on his phone like most people have pics of their kids. An elderly neighbor of his called him when her husband died wanting to know if he’d be interested in buying his guns. He went and looked, one of the guns was a German machine pistol he brought home from the war. Apparently he never registered it as a war trophy so my client told the lady to call the ATF and turn it in. They arrested and charged her.

Absolutely insane. Even standard issue MP-40’s are worth a hundred grand. I’d be irate if I got reported for owning a piece of history. As if he ever planned on even firing the thing, much less using it nefariously.

There are guys who get arrested for owning German ration boxes because they still have pervitin in them too. You think anyone is spending thousands on those to get high on meth?

I understand how you feel about this, and it’s a tragedy. But the gun itself didn’t kill him. He likely would’ve found another avenue if he was unsuccessful buying the gun.

How do you like it? I have a 26 for conceal carry but my pinkie hangs off the damn thing. An extended mag kind of defeats the purpose of concealing it. I’m looking to replace it
