Not at all. it's only illegal for me to knowingly sell a gun to a felon. How would I know? Take his word? If if were illegal and carried stiff penalties for me to sell a gun without a background check I would not do it. The hole is on the other side of the argument. Stiff penalties for private party sales without background checks would help keep guns out of convicted felons hands. I refuse to believe all these gangs are manufacturing them.If they are they are breaking the law.
Are you starting to see the hole in your argument?
I think the point is laws were made to be broken, and stacking more redundant laws on top of each other won’t prevent them from being broken. Not at all. it's only illegal for me to knowingly sell a gun to a felon. So now, I'm supposed to be responsible for making sure other people aren't breaking the law and report them to the government? That sound like any other systems in history? Not at all. it's only illegal for me to knowingly sell a gun to a felon. How would I know? Take his word? Can they vote? It's a legit question. What guaranteed rights do you want to exclude them from? And their voting is far scarier than them having a gun. I'm all for them doing both once they have completed their sentenceAnd what is the price of tea in China? I think felons of violent crimes should not be able to own firearms
