There is no path forward. Human beings are destructive and self-destructive by nature, were, are, and always will be. We see the proof staring at us in the face daily, whether exhibited by the protoplasmic criminal elements on up to the self-serving clowns in Congress. All we do is make excuses for repeating and continuing the same and our rapidly degenerative behavior.

and in a world filled with those self destructive harmful elements the best solution in your book is that the good people, or at least least harmful, are required/should be less armed and vulnerable to the harmful elements?

Kipling was talking against centralized power in that poem. it isn't a poem on hoplophobia you are otherwise expressing. if anything it could be argued that Kipling in this poem would have been on "our" side of the argument.

Chubby was a bit before my time. was he famous for stealing other people's work and misusing them? because right now its mostly you do that here.

care to explain how the previous bit from Kipling was helpful to you? The problem if you just dry quote something without providing any context, is that I can just as easily use the same quote for my purposes.

you are encouraging the twisting when you provide random quotes that are ostensibly counter to your argument. if you could clearly communicate your ideas there would be less chance for twisting. but when you use made up words/phrases and rely on emotional arguments you are again encouraging twisting.

you clearly have no knowledge of the subject, interest in honesety, skill or interest of actually debating, and just want to come in here for keyboard self gratification.
