She's correct. If someone does break in, the SS will shoot them.

I can't speak to all of those countries, but I know the UK and Germany at least count theirs differently than ours.

I think Germany only counts it when there is a death of a student.

and I think the UK only counts it when its a student shooting a student, teacher, or other school staff member. IIRC, strangely it doesn't work the other way. Like I think a staff member shooting a kid didn't count, even if it was at school. There was some weird exception they took, that might not be correct but its how I recall reading about it.

Found a website that says France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and the Czechs have all had a school shooting this year. so this graphic is at least somewhat questionable.

Italy also claims to have 0 school shootings since the 60s, but when you dig into they have had multiple students shot on school campuses, so I am not really sure how they are counting these things. Granted the last one was 2009, so its been a minute.

Austria had a pretty bloody 2020, which included a mass shooting event which did include someone being shot on a school campus. due to their privacy laws they don't go more into it, so I am not sure if it was a student there. but here in America that would count regardless.

Poland had a shooting at a school in 2019, not sure why they aren't on the list.

Her implication is that they are running them through the background check and they're coming back . If the system says it's ok to sell them then they aren't at risk to sell them i would think. My guess it's false too but who knows? Nothing surprises me these days.
