I'm having a hard time believing that they are ponying up $3 million per year for Malzahn but their fallback position is a nobody. If you are willing to dangle $3 million for one guy, why would you immediately drop down to 2nd/3rd tier guys like that for Plan B? The story sounds a little farfetched.

I do know that Gus was in town interviewing. I don't know what the salary was. I do know that Vandy has plenty of money to offer. I don't know how he could make them competitive. I do know that many careers have died trying. I don't know...
