Anyone that hires Malzahn will regret it. He will ruin a big time program. I guess the good news is we could substitute Barbara Dooley on the radio for Malzahn's wife to keep us entertained.

I know he runs the spread which I think Peterman could be great in and its a run based offense. If he could get or bring a proven DC, I think he could be successful.

IMO His wife is a handful. You think Barbara Dooley was entertaining? I know Barbara was Dools mother, but she was always quoted and interviewed. This would be a nightmare to deal with.

I'd take Malzahn but I'm not sure we have the type of players that he's been successful with. He's a good coach though, despite his wife being nuts.

He wants the Arky job. Not saying he will get it but he would leave us in a heartbeat to take it

Offense wise I think we do. I think Lane, Young, and Watson could do well in that system.

His wife got into a bunch of BS at Auburn because she was on video talkin about how cute Cam Newton was. With him being black, it did not go over too well with the white trash in Alabama. When he was up for bigger jobs, he was passed over because of this. Forget were I read that. The dude can coach, I dont give a damn if his wife has jungle fever or not!

Could be good, maybe not, but we need someone that's proven. I'm tired of the "projects" we pick up.

We need a winner that proven, not another buy out in a couple years

If we go after any coach that has had any association with Arkansas State it should be Freeze. Malzahn has not done anything more than Freeze did at Arkansas State (Freeze was 10-2) and has not proven himself as a recruiter like Freeze has (Ole Miss's class is going to be special this year).

What's Auburn been like since Malzahn left? Don't kid yourself. Dude can coach and would do just fine at UT.

FYP. I can name a lot of people that were successful as an offensive coordinator but not as a head coach. He might be a good head coach, but the sample size is not there to say either way especially when you consider the fact it is not like he is doing anything that the previous coach didn't.

Yeah, I lived in Portland. Loads of hippie types all around. I didn't like the city so much (though there was some great stuff there too), but the coast was just spectacular. I really miss it.

I miss So Cal bro.....the Pacific Coast is amazing.
