If we expand, it isn't going to be for opening up new territory... But it would likely be to co-opt the few football schools in the ACC and completely dominate the region.

We're on ESPN, we don't have to worry about new markets... and anyone who wants Texas for recruiting needs to realize those kids almost never leave the state.

Why do we need anybody? We shouldn't change just for the sake of change. If we could get Texas then Slive would be crazy not to but otherwise don't add teams just because everybody else is. We have the best TV deal. We have the best teams. We have the best players and coaches and traditions. The Pac-10 needs teams to avoid irrelevance. The Big 10 needs to expand their footprint for the Big 10 network. We have billions guaranteed from ESPN and CBS for the next 15 years. No knee jerk reactions please!

I still stick with the reports of Texas, A&M, TT, Oklahoma and Okie St. all going to the Pac 10.

That was yesterday's rumor though. You'd think they would have jumped when CO jumped if that were going to hold true since it was a package deal. CO was supposed to be battling Baylor for the last team - not the first team.

Well, dude has called everything to this point, and ahead of everyone else as well. Dude has a lot of cred right now.

Not so much. He indicated CO would be the last team invited to the Pac 10 and that Baylor may get it over CO.

One of the hosts on ESPN Radio - Dallas just said he's still hearing officials at aTm are still looking to get into the SEC.
