Hadden hate

Don't think people should boo players. Bad for the program. But Hadden's reputation as a football player is 100% in his control. Glad to see him do some things to redeem himself last night.

In the SC game last year, his actions were embarrassing and ridiculous, and Rattler made him pay time after time. This year, I didn't see as much from Hadden as in previous games. He is progressing nicely, doesn't seem to be getting so many PI flags as last year. He does need to stop with the antics after a good play, just keep his head up, nose to the grindstone, and be the player he seems like he can be. And for the boo birds, that should never happen. It's ones right to not like a certain player, but never show disrespect for that player by booing them when their name is called.

In the pregame roster announcements there was a low rumble of Boos when they announced Hadden. I get that the guy has had some busts that have hurt us but that’s just uncalled for for our home crowd to boo any of our players. Really irritated me.

I doubt he heard it because the team was in the locker room at that point. But the recruits may have heard it and thats a bad look.

I was happy for him getting that pick 6 after that.

Our DBs played like they wanted the ball last night. Good to see! Booing players is pathetic

Yeah I can’t stand the boo birds. Hadden, seems like he’s slowly settling in. He’s got ridiculous potential
Never underestimate the stupidity of the average fan.

Only player deserving of boos is JG.
nobody wearing orange deserves it. Golf clap their name being announced instead of cheering for them, but booing our own players is just embarrassing and it hurts recruiting.

You are booing the guys who are supposed to be selling our program to the next incoming classes. It looks bad.

The boos towards him in the starting lineup were absolutely pathetic. No excuse for it. Don’t care if he is bad or runs his mouth.

And just because he was in the lockeroom doesn’t mean he won’t hear about it. I can guarantee he heard about it.

Booing was unnecessary. I’ve had my complaints about him but don’t boo a UT player at a home game. The guy was in position and he made a big play that we needed. He’s feast or famine. Been that way his whole time here. Hopefully he takes the good things forward for the rest of the year.

The ball fell in his lap after Rattler sailed it over his receiver’s head. He didn’t make some great play or jump a route.

He shouldn’t be on the field period. He’s gotten repeated PI penalties for not turning his head to find the ball. He talks trash constantly and gets burned regularly. And then the Florida non-tackle was icing on the cake. It’s infuriating that he’s still getting playing time. It’s an indictment on Martinez, Banks, and ultimately Heupel.

I can take or leave the booing. Don’t care ultimately, but I completely understand the frustration with him and how he continues to start.
You got a better proven replacement. I am sure you are there at every practice to see it all. There is a reason he is playing and starts so get your TV Remote out and change the channel. Pretty entitled aren't you. If there was a better sub he would be playing. Coach away from the Arm Chair because you appear to know all the ends and out.

The fact that there may not be a better replacement says volumes.

Hadden had his best game of the year and maybe ever. If he continues to play well, there will not be any ADVERSE REACTION FROM THE CROWD.

I was at the game with my 8 yr old son and was utterly embarrassed at our fan-base booing. It was clearly audible and several were doing it in my section (R). My little guy asked me why everyone was booing for one of the Vols. I mean, having to explain that some Vols fans are just lousy examples of how to support a team is an annoying conversation to even have. Really pissed me off.

There were Gamecock fans there also. But you knew that, right?

Go VOLS
Very few. They weren’t in the student section though which is where I heard most of the boos coming from. It wasn’t just few boos either. And I saw people in Tennessee gear with my own eyes booing him, so move along.

But it doesn't speak to Hadden it speaks to coaching. Which proves you know nothing by berating Hadden.

So your point is shifting because you really don't know what the problem is as it could be communication, defensive play calling, missed assignments, poor play.

Look back at the interception last night. Hadden was in position to stop the first down as well as another player. Best to say in position to stop the play vs he got lucky with Interception. He was where he was suppose to be as well as the other player in under coverage.

Team sport with individual assignments. The defense meet the need by being in position and got an overthrow interception for a TD. We were right for a change and the players were where they needed to be.

The Hadden treatment reminds me of when Arian Foster was here. His mistakes are usually at the worst times, which makes them 10x worse than normal mistakes. He played really good last night , his pick 6 was more Rattlers bad pass but it was a great moment

Unless they called the wrong #, he was not the player that was flagged after his TD. In fact when that happened I was so afraid it would cost us, but our D was up to the task. GBO
It was Slaughter according to announcers. I don’t think Hadden has had any unsportsmanlike penalties this year. But, some think he has 2-3 every game.
