Hate Speech

Your snowflakedness won't work with me. I have and won't change on this issue. One of the things I hated about George W Bush.

You have attacked my post based on your own poor reading comprehension. You are literally in an argument with yourself and you are too dull to realize it.

Has anyone ever been charged with a hate crime in the killing of a white person? I've never heard of that happening myself. So my question is, are we saying only white people can kill in hate?

Did a quick google and couldn't find an example.

Like the rest of the world it at our mercy? Currently, they contribute more to the federal pie than they remove. Keep that money at home and they win. Furthermore, they, a large percentage of the refineries in the US reside in those two states and Tx produces more than 40% of all US oil. They would be just fine. The military infrastructure is already in place. US would lose a large percentage of its naval bases in the process.

We wouldn't allow them to keep our Naval bases and even if we did they would need the ships. TX would have to go through US waters to export it's oil so they would be our bitch. And this time if they tried to kick up a fuss a bunch of Tennesseans wouldn't come riding to their rescue.

Texas is a lost cause. We need to give it back to Mexico or we'll have another CA on our hands.
Nah don’t sell the good people outside of the metropolitan areas short. I think a lot of the metro city leadership is just jealous of the disdain and mockery the rest of us Texans have shown the idiots that run Austin all these years and want some liberal glory for themselves 🤷‍♂️

Why are you assuming that, from all the examples he gave, I was referring to that one. Or really any of them. My comment was not addressing any particular subject matter, but more of a general observation. Why are you so triggered by illegal aliens?
Is being against illegal immigration mean "triggered"? I'm just curious what you consider triggered? Do you think it's okay for people to ignore our laws and enter the country illegal? It just seems like a smack in the face to the country for one, by flaunting our laws from the outset, but more importantly, to the people who follow the laws and work within the system to become citizens legally and do it the right way.

Oh that bs is worn out. The states contribute nothing. The citizens are taxed and they are all federally taxed the same regardless of zip code. All states suck on the gov tit that is funding by taxing the people.

He is triggered because I never discussed illegal immigration.

Doesn't California rely on other states to help with energy?

It's about voting blocks. See the blue wave of California after a court rejected prop 187 despite it passing by well over 1 million votes

Listen, my thick headed fellow Vol fan. Go back and start reading with my comment to Ricky which was the first one you quoted me on.. I feel confident you can figure it out from there. But currently you have illegal immigration on the mind which I have never had as the subject matter of any post I made ITT.

Okay. Would you care to comment on the rest of my post? I'm not looking to be an *******, I'm just trying to understand the other side of the argument.

I am for more secure borders. I just happen to think a wall is a waste of money. You want to stop illegal immigration, start arresting the people that hire them. Close the job market and the immigration stops.

neither is calling people illegal aliens, or saying there is only two genders, or that other cultures are inferior or any other nonsense the left comes up with as "hate speech"

The left know when you attack someone by accusing them of hate speech, they normally shut up. The left can't win honest debates thats why the shut down speech.

I've been against the wall as well. I think it's ultimately a waste of money. And I don't disagree with arresting the people that hire them, but that doesn't mean the illegal immigrants shouldn't be deported as well. If you want to be a U.S. citizen, I think you should respect our laws on what it takes to come here.

Dims need to outlaw that sleepy little town down around San Antone. Doobie Bros say the people of the town are strange! Well you talkin' 'bout your racist China Grove. I can't believe that I been digging this republican era racist song for 50 years!

Now do Brown Sugar. I want to see the leftist virtue signalers' heads exploding or at least watch them scurry off to their safe spaces before melting.

Maybe, maybe not. The U.S. wouldn't surrender strategic bases, so ultimately a deal of protection in exchange for bases would probably be worked out. The biggest burden would be suddenly being responsible for the entire welfare of their citizenry, IMO. Especially a state like CA that favors healthcare for all.

I think there are easily arguments to go both ways, but both states benefit from being part of the Union, and the Union benefits from having both states within it. If I had to pick a side though, I'd think it would be harder for the states to go it alone than for the country to go on without them.
