Before CTV got here they had to suffer through the Todd Raleigh and Dave Serrano years.
There was a period from 2006-2018 the BaseVols didn’t even make the postseason.

A handful of posters have been loyal to the program and stuck it out all these years and kept this forum alive.

Hats off to the GOATS.

I was mostly lurking in those days with an occasional post (which was typically a question). Baseball info was really hard to get and this was the only place to get it. Frye in particular was someone who provided valuable info and insight.

Thanks to all of those folks for being valuable sources of info before info was available anywhere else.

Reminds me of 1998 natty football game in Phoenix. I am 58 then and brother calls me in Columbus Oh and says are we going. I say that is a long way and we will be there again closer to home. He says "you 58 and I am 51 and we have been fans all of our lives and never had this chance ---why would you think we get another chance in our lifetime?" I said we go.
Certainly hoping to watch one more natty on TV tonite.
