Not solely but close... But we are talking about one of the most purely talented teams in college football that year, and I doubt many would argue. Would the same be said about Tennessee basketball last year mr. kentucky fan?

I'd say it was about 10% coaching, and 90% Brian Williams and J.P Prince (and a couple others) actually showing up to play college ball during the 2nd half of the season and the tourney. Plus the fact that the UT roster was depleted so Bruce was forced to abandon his lame duck "chaos" scheme, which crippled UT in previous seasons.

In that case I would consider kentucky's season last year 99.9% talent and .1% pretending to coach.

Me too. If not for the huge stones of John Wall and 3 first round monsters to throw it to inside, we could have easily lost 8 games. Huggins destroyed Cal in the X's and O's department in the tourney.

It is what it is.

However, there is still quite a bit of difference between Cal and Pearl.

It is truly incredible that folks will pretend that Pearl is the basketball program and we have no program without him. Listing previous coaches as the only candidates for a current proposed vacancy is stupid.

Why don't you see if you can use the word "quote" a couple of more times in that sentence? Did the driver of the short bus play music for you and your classmates or did he keep it quiet so as to not interrupt the eating of paint chips?
