Yeah I think it is, Pearl lied about a kid being at his house and contacted recruits improperly. Cal was forced to vacate a final four with UMass because Camby was getting paid by agents (he knew just like Pete Carroll knew, you're best players don't show up to practice in a new car and you don't know where thats coming from), Cal called some sports reporter from a New Jersey paper a "f'ing Mexican idiot" and later offered an apology, Cal has also made suspect hires of people connected with high school kids after their commitment to his teams, there's also the Derrick Rose and Eric Bledsoe situations... Oh yeah after those run ins at UMass and Memphis he got out of dodge.

Pearl is not even close to Cal's level, in terms of scum bagness anyways.

I love the naivete that allows people to believe this was a blip on the radar for Pearl ethically. It's like watching a child put teeth under a pillow to summon the Tooth Fairy.

Seems too diplomatic, even for me. I have to call it stupidity. I'm forced to give up on naivete once they start looking to blame other coaches for Pearl's actions.

Just because someone calls it like it is doesn't make them any less of a fan; it's called looking at things objectively which is what hat does.

Anyone one here that still thinks Pearl is a great guy needs to take off the orange goggles. He's just as much scum as anyone else. If you had asked me 2 years ago, I would be on the bandwagon of jumping on hat for his analysis of Pearl, but I've been around people close to the program for the last 2 years and know that Pearl is scum and should be fired.

Looking at the facilities we have now (Pratt, re-vamped TBA) it would not be hard to bring someone here that could accomplish what Pearl has and do it the right way.

I think I get what your saying... And I'm anything but ignorant, I understand most of what has been uncovered by the NCAA and realize that Bruce lied, broke the rules, and genuinely apologized (at least it looked like it). I get it.

I however like what he has done for this program, on and off the court, and am willing to come down off my high horse and forgive the man for putting our program in a really tough position. I'm willing to give him a chance to TOTALLY REDEEM HIMSELF.

Not agreeing with you doesn't make a person ignorant. You thinking it does makes you seem ignorant...
