You could definitely see the wheels turning in Snow's head during the conversation in the crypt. Wonder which "issue" was at the forefront?

I really thought they might off someone important on the first one to kick off the final season in style.

Definitely a set up episode. A good one, but I was expecting a little more to be honest with only 6 shows left

When you have so many characters having reunions after years it’s hard to get straight into it without having this kind of episode to bridge the gap

I think (and I could totally be wrong) the next two episodes will be all Night King stuff and after episode 3 we get a definitive end when it comes to the night king. Then the final three episodes will be about who sits on the iron throne.
