HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Something of interest:
Could explain why the Night King can ride a dragon...

Okay...well is he of Stark or Targaryen bloodline?

He predates all of the known families. The Age of the First Men/creation of the White Walkers is roughly 10,000 years before the show's current date. The Starks and Lannisters weren't established until the Age of Heroes, which was about 2,000 years later.

Timeline

The Night King was already around when the Wall was initially built to keep the WWs out of Westeros.

Timeline

The Night King was already around when the Wall was initially built to keep the WWs out of Westeros.
The Night King and white walkers come about at different times. It was Brandon the Builder and the children of the forest who combined their forces to defeat the white walkers during the first long night. After Bran the Builder and the Children of the Forest built the Wall. The Night King who was also the 13th Commander of the Nights Watch and a Stark became the Night King after he fell in love with a female white walker.

“According to legend, Night's King lived during the Age of Heroes, not long after the Wall was complete. He was a fearless warrior named the thirteenth Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Later, he fell in love with a woman "with skin as white as the moon and eyes like blue stars". He chased her and loved her though "her skin was cold as ice", and when he gave his seed to her he gave his soul as well. Night's King brought her back to the Nightfort and after the unholy union, he declared himself king and her his queen, and ruled the Nightfort as his own castle for thirteen years.”

“During the dark years of his reign, horrific atrocities were committed, of which tales are still told in the north. It was not until Brandon the Breaker, the King of Winter, and Joramun, the King-Beyond-the-Wall, joined forces that Night's King was brought down and the Night's Watch freed.[2] After his fall, when it was discovered that Night's King had been making sacrifices to the Others, all records of him were destroyed and his very name was forbidden and forgotten.[1]It is likely this led the lords of the north to forbid the Night's Watch to construct walls at their keeps, ensuring the keeps would always be accessible from the south.” The Others are the White Walkers.

Different characters.

What's the Difference Between the Night King and Night's King? | Inverse

Although it is possible the show combined the characters and condensed the timeline.

I hope the Night King isn't a Stark or anyone we know/related to anyone we know. Much prefer him to just be a relic of the ancient past.

He sure looks like Bran.

Does he?

latest

looks like Dierks Bentley to me....or maybe Butch before he lost his height and gained his weight and found a Westerosi barber that would give him a decent flat top.

Reddit had the title for Season 8 Episode 1 wrong. They said it would be "Winter is Here" but it was actually just "Winterfell". Not a big miss but still a miss... they now say that the title of Episode 2 will be "The Rightful Queen".

So After last years leaks, HBO has been going out of its way to throw fake leaks out there.

This is what I think happens and what I would do if I'm the Night King..

Men and women are waiting for you with Dragon glass, dragons and fortified. It's not as easy to win even with the numbers alone. There may be some magic aspect with one of the past starks in winterfell that spawned the phrase "there must always be a Stark in winterfell". Winterfell may also be called that because that's where Azor Ahai won against them the last time so theres something to the magic theory.

So if I'm the Night King, I'm sending a small portion to fight the winterfell station to delay them and blowing by to march south to kings landing.

Kingslanding is populated and not equipped to fight against the dead like Winterfell. Itll be a slaughter and a HUGE addition to the dead army. Also, you pick up recruits along the way.

Winterfell army is fortified, draw them out in the middle of winter and with Kingslanding and kings road population joining your army, turn around and have the numbers in the open.

What will happen? Dirty Jon and the boyz will come behind them mid battle with the golden company and itll be an epic battle. Who knows the result with GRRM. Cersei will die after trying to sabotage the battle because shes a dips**t and one of her brothers catching her.

I actually think the Night King and WWs get dealt with relatively soon and the true battle will be between other characters.
