HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I know not everyone will agree but Euron feels like he has been forced onto the scene as a plot convenience and the guy playing him is going over the top with the pirate act and he is more annoying than anything else. He exists only to help level the playing field.

I think he’s a terrific character and very well played by the actor.

Yeah I find it impossible to care about him or his motivations. Ready for him to be out of the picture. Plus his name is Urine. Terrible.

In the last season when Samwell is trying to convince the Maesters to send the letter about the walkers, the Maesters were joking around about some old “myth” where the “kraken rises up and kills Aegon the Conqueror.” They laugh it off as something silly, but I wonder if that was any foreshadowing for the current Aegon and King of the Iron Islands (house Sigil is a Kraken).

Liked how Bronn was approached by Qyburn for that “job”. The actor who plays Bronn and the actress who plays Cersei were in a long term relationship that ended badly. Writers had to be a little creative to keep them from ever being in the same room.

Having to walk into a scene with your ex in a bed with three lovelies might dredge up some bad memories. Probably best to avoid.

Read an article where it was said she was against his casting and they did it anyway because it made her character’s contempt for his very realistic.

If by terrific you mean I'll really enjoy his death, then yes, he's terrific. I'd really love to see the Mountain crush his skull until his eyes pop out, but most likely he'll die at the hands of Yara. Of course, having him die after having his manhood removed by Theon would be satisfying as well, IMO.

It's almost certain that this won't end in a simple good vs evil, black/white fashion. What if the dragons themselves are the problem? Like nuclear weapons, their existence threatens everyone. One side gets them, the other needs them. What if that's the entire reason the WWs have come south...they know that the dragons must be destroyed to return peace to the world?
